The Gospel According to John
1:1 In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
1:3 All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.
1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
1:5 And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
1:6 There was a man sent from God,
whose name was John.
1:7 This man came for a witness,
to bear witness of the Light,
that all through Him might believe.
1:8 He was not that Light but
was sent to bear witness to the Light.
1:9 That was the true Light that gives light to
every man coming into the world.
1:10 He was in the world, and the world was
made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
1:11 He came to his own and
His own did not receive Him.
1:12 But as many as received Him to them
He gave the right to be children of God,
to those who believe in His name:
1:13 who were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.
1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth.

Constricted Love for my Lord God of Heaven and Earth
Bound by fear and uncertainty I roam
Beneath a translucent mist I see a combination of paths
Before me are choices I waver to make
Set my limits My Lord for I trust myself not
Speak out Your Word
Let my heart find the humility to hear Your Voice
Bow my head in shame at the humanity within
Lead me forth to your Glory so that I may walk in your path
Love is Yours, for You and through Your Son I aim to give it abundantly
For the world I pray with all my heart that in Light they may see
Your Wondrous Glory
Only You can lead the way through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour,
Your Beautiful Son who taught us so much and gave us all He had to give
In Him and through Him may we find our way to You
Following the Truth the Light and the Love
Purpose may escape our carnal minds but faith leads us on
Give Glory to God in the Highest that He may know how much we venerate Him
Let us Pray that we hold Him dear to our hearts always
Let His Love fill our souls and ease our spirits
Be assured that God will lead on those hearts that are accepting of His Way
Saviour O Saviour, Son of God
Take my hand and guide me to the Light
For your Love, like that of a mother, is meek and mild, patient and kind
Your touch,
Warm and soothing to me like the arms of a Father
Wraps my fears and melts them away
With You I am Loved
With you I will learn
With you I will find my way
Amen, Amen
Time cascades around me
Falling unpredictably like snow flakes in the wind.
Sweet as Honey a voice calls me from a place beyond my comprehension.
Irresistible, yet so much holds me back.
Under the ocean of life sound becomes warped.
Through the rain of existence the cry is dampened.
Clawing my way up steep embankments
Slick with mud I slide down the way I came.
Determined I strike my fingers into the quagmire.
Dragging myself upward with each determined jab.
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Praise God!
Stretching out my neck I reach the top
Strong Breathe surrounds me, rushes past my face
Restoring lost strength, allowing emotional release
Embraced by Love beyond measure.
I love you Lord with all my heart and all that is within me

Ns243cxcvi : Stoicism on February 2, 2008No, it doesn’t. I treat others as they treat me. It's only fair; otherwise, I am kind to start.
I follow two very important phrases, one of which I am certain you'll recognize:
"Treat others as you would have them treat you."
and
"Treat others as they treat you."
Besides which, the classical definition of a Stoicism isn’t the cold, emotionless specter is has become. It is the practice of excluding harmful emotions and the use of unbiased, rational logic.
