No, not the Spartan as in Sparta vs. Athens. The Spartan as in the one that saved humanity in the Halo series. 015 is the number that seems to follow me everywhere I go (class number, locker number, bus number, kart number...gah) so consequently I ended up as SPARTAN-015.
Apart from the obvious [SPARTAN] 015, you can call me Airman (my rank in Civil Air Patrol), KS, or Simmons (for those of you who watch Red vs. Blue).
See my Storywrite page for my details for now. I'm moving from SW to AllPhilosophy, so it will be a little while.
Fun with Civil Air Patrol drill practice:
Drill leader: COLUMN FILE FROM THE RIGHT TO THE LEFT!
1st element leader: FORWARD!
2nd element leader: ...I forgot my line.
3rd element leader: Yeah, whoever's got cue card duty is displaying insubordination.
Drill leader: *takes a deep breath* *mutters to self* And that is okay because they are new and it is my job to teach them... *to the recruits* It's "Stand fast," and the last person in the element says "Last man" so the next element leader can move their element at the appropriate time. Understood, cadets?
2nd element leader: Yes, Airman.
3rd element leader: Gotcha, Airman.
Drill leader: COLUMN FILE FROM THE RIGHT TO THE LEFT!
1st element leader: FORWARD!
2nd element leader: STAND FAST!
3rd element leader: STAND FAST!
3rd element last member: LAST MAN!
Drill leader: ...Fail.
Fun with cadences:
Drill sergeant: I DON'T KNOW BUT I'VE BEEN TOLD!
Flight: I DON'T KNOW BUT I'VE BEEN TOLD!
Drill sergeant: YOUR SERGEANT'S WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD!
Flight: OUR SERGEANT'S WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD!
Drill sergeant: Damn right he is.
Okay, I'm extremely proud of my membership in the Civil Air Patrol and I love my Air Force...but I will readily admit to you this: the veteran or serving Marines, no matter their rank, will always be our superiors.
And my icon image? I had to put it up because it looks exactly like my Enzo R/C and the two little people I got to put on the side of the slot car track as spectators.
My pride right now is my World War III novel, though it's not going so well so far. I'm not writing it in order, just what comes to me it whatever order. I have a good 15-20 pages already, give up to 5. Message me if you'd like to edit.
I am a Knight Rider fan
. My Storywrite page is home to my series, 'Knight Rider 2020,' which I still have to update. www.collectivekitz.com/KRFic also hosts it.
I'm currently looking for Knight Rider fanfiction authors to join the 2020 Team and continue the series of Knight Rider 2020!
