The trail was quiet and lonely, / The cattle had long went to sleep. / The old cowhand watched from a ridge top, / With no company but the stars now to keep. / And as cowboys sometimes do, / The gruff man lifte - [ Mirrors have long been my enemy, ] at allpoetry
Mirrors have long been my enemy, / They’ve been hateful, evil and cruel, / Distorting images before me, / To my angry fire they gave fuel. / / But the sparkfire living within me, / That angrily showed its disgust
