I have been told that, "If we do not plant our feet well, the River of Time will sweep us away to places we do not wish to be. Stand Fast as the events around you change, and if you have faith in what you believe, you can mold the change to your liking. If you do not have faith, the events might just mold you into something else."
What I continue to wonder is:
Is it better to be molded or to be the molder? -
Interesting
Bothish? Adapting to change and changing yourself with it can be effective and a conscious choice, as well as evolving into a person that could mold what s/he wants to. Being like putty is naturally just silly and dangerous. -
Agreed, both helps lots you have to know how to learn and change and be comfortable and confident enough to teach others also.
Hmm I could go al religious on me thinks but I might not lol. Mudgod oblige though

Both
To me that is like saying should we be leaders or followers. "TO BE A MOLDER OR BE MOLDED, THAT IS THE QUESTION." Seriously, I think we all need to display leadership qualities at times but then at other times following someone else's lead will become necessary. To lead you must first learn to follow. -

be as the willow grasshopper. that is bent in the winds of change but not uprooted. not as the pine
who bends but lacking depth of root is toppled -

I think both, is one. You unconsciously do it all the time. we all moled each other, and are being moled. Like I natural do things do things to influence people, and they influence me. I can't see, and people think that's amazing. I do what everyone does
