    Why are there so many more horses arses than there are horses?

    I really don't get this..... Even if there is two parts to an arse, that does not make arses more common, because it is still one arse..... There are multiple parts to one horse.... Please, ease my stupidity

    'Horse's arse' as I know it is usually used as a derogatory term for an ugly person.
    'They have a face like a horse's arse'

    but it can also be used to describe someone who is not a nice person.

    actualy ,the term horses ass came about from a philosophy , that in order to determine if it was indeed an ass , just watch it, if in a while shit came out of it, it was
