    its very simple, take you most valued belief and think to yourself, could i kill to protect it?

        i would fight for my country or my family even using deadly force if the situation called for it. as for my belief in Santa i simply wouldn't be seen with someone who didn't believe!

    Don't believe that I would kill for my beliefs, but I would certainly and willingly (not willfully) die for them.

    Well what about very specific moral beliefs? For instance, the belief that rape is wrong. I do not wish to be a murderer or anything, but if I had to I'm sure I would kill to stop it.

    I don't think it is a sin to kill someone who knows that the activity they are involved in presents that risk. Warriors and criminals for instance. Certainly I would step in to try and save someone from harm, but I wouldn't intentionally kill someone unless it was the only way possible to stop the attack. Pretty much that same as Weydon here.
