    I wandered over from the poetry site for some philosophy talk. Imagine my suprise in finding this a rant board for fundamentalists. Not what I expected. The cross-burning was a handy place to roast marshmallows though.

    Religion--by the book and (overly?)zealous or open-minded and simple--is an extremely legitimate form of philosophy, and in fact an important part of it that has been rooted since the very beginning.

    we started as a classical philosophy site but not many people find it interesting enough so hence we evolved to a newer philosophy style

    Agreed Stepherz, I could do with some more 'pure philosophy' topics, as mine did not seem to get too far. Any ideas, slap em down as a topic...
