We cannot deny the fact that cyberspace is a threshold for billions of people around the world. We exchange information, get to know one another, ask help and support, talk about anything, or conduct business.
The social networking sites like Myspace are creating major sudden changes in how we view communication, the demographics, business, and even cybercrimes. Take for example, myspace phishing (http://www.profilepitstop.com/articles/myspace/identity-theft-and-myspace-phishing.php). A lot of people are fast becoming victims and many belong to potential victims.
How do these changes or influences, both good or bad, affect our society? -
A little more connected than usual. The only dangers are vritually idnetical to things strangers that promise puppies and candies in their van are trustworthy.

On both sides...
Myspace and other 'space sites have both helped community in a rather lower scale in a sense that it helps build interpersonal relationships, easier to make plans, ways to express oneself to a greater number of people since everyone has that "Identity" thing, and overall builds healthy social lives. In the other case these sites are a breeding ground for criminals to commit the sins they seek. The internet has made these crimes to be easier to commit as well as to create new types of crimes. In any case the effect has it's positives and its negatives. -
There are pros and cons to everything. That's just life...

Exactly, no matter what the case there is always a plus side and a negative one as well.
