I think that there is alot of pressure on people to have sex now and before eyes are rolled and hands are slapped on your forehead, I graduated not long ago so I was just there. I didnt have any of the pressure because I didnt let it get to me but in certain instances and someones saying certain things to you you might melt.

everyone back then (hahaha, i make it sound like it was more than a year ago) assumed i was gay and then assume all gay people have frivilous sex parties. so they all assumed i had anal sex. some even had the nerve to ask how it felt. (for those who dont know, i still have my V-card) i never had the pressure cause everyone thought i already had....

Not everyone obviously gets the pressure but if your a young girl and some older dreamy guy is saying how much he loves you and ewy crap like that then shes gonna give him what he wants.

Its not entirely the parents fault that she/he may not be getting what they need. If they feel like they deserve more they need to speak up. Its still their choice to have sex for whatever reason it may be.Some parents go through life thinking they gave their kids what they needed only to realize later after many years and many therapy sessions that the child wanted more. Whose fault is it when the kid doesnt say anything?

I didnt mean it quite like that. I meant that even though they may be getting attention and stuff they may need or require more but their parents may not realize or notice that without them speaking up.

Parenting is a very hard job, especially when its so easy to get caught up in lifes busy schedule. Family values are missing from todays society and have been for a while. I know if I had been brought up with the Christian values that I have now my life would have been very different. And i'm sure the same could be said of the girls/boys we have been discussing here.

I dont think that religion can save everyone though. I was brought up Christian and I think my life would be the same. I got issues with it obviously but just because someone has a religion or an understanding of a greater presence doesnt mean they are going to make decisions such as this.

I think there are many reasons why young girls and boys have sex. More for the girls since sex is usually fairly different for the two of them. Girls are more easily impressionable and I hate to pull the media card but it doesnt help any.

Sex can be a beautiful thing when its right. And when is it right?. only you can answer that question. We should not ask why people have sex,whether their young,or old. The question we should ask is for what reason do people have sex. Sex is for procreation,that is the purpose of it. It just so happens that its a pleasure to be able to. The evil of sex is only held by those who think that way. -

The innocence of sex is only held by those who think that way. The relativity of such statements seem to be a fairly logical surmise, yet saying nothing that the first part of the sentence has already concluded anyway. More so one is required to say what IS.

Sex isnt evil. Its just got some bad points attached to it. I partially agree though on what you said about for what reason is one having sex. The point still remains that 11 year olds are having sex and its wrong. They think they should be able to for whatever reason and though there are the select few that are being forced into it most of them are aware of what is going on.

I think all over the world should re-consider a law saying,
New law?
"Of all humanity, they should not have sex at the age below 20 years old. If found guilty of breaking it, they should go to jail for the certain month, certify, and if found a certain people being forced into sexual incourse they will also be fined and be put into jail." -

Even if there was a law who would listen to it? Its against the law to rape someone or kill someone and yet people still do it. Laws scare few people. It wouldnt change anything.

Young people treat sex as if it is an initiation to a new relationship. Like the BF & GF thing isnt there if you dont have sex. Which is why 8 out of 10 young relationships fail, because they have sex first, before getting to actually know the person, which is also why so many young girls are single parents.

Ive had a couple fairly long young relationships without sex. They didnt end because of sex. I dont think they treat it as an initiation so much. I think its more a right of passage. The guys got a girl. They must be having sex. Ive seen both sides get pressured. The girls friends are all telling her its about time she had sex and his friends already think he has because he didnt tell them he didnt. I think for some of them its just like kind of getting it done. Like its going to happen at some point so why not sooner than later.

wow, really? in my entire physics class in highschool, only 1 person had had sex (24 people in the class)

more and more people start having sex at younger age due to pressure only sometimes and others just for the fun that think comes with it....Not all is voluntary yes, but the ones that are still shouldn't happen. 11 is a really young age and at that age keeps dropping of when kids have sex.... -
The only reason to have sex is to procreate! just like the patriarch Judah did in Gen 38:15-26

Bob I presume this is sarcasm. Since becoming a Christian of the Bible believing kind I have reaslised that God works through all kinds of people and those people are usually far from perfect, as Im sure you agree, there are no perfect people. Also we are not only taught how to live Gods way by example of good behaviour, we are shown lessons through bad example too for it is clear to see the consequences when looking at others mistakes.

Its not necessarily about what people believe they want. We self detruct all the time say for example we believe we want to have fun taking coke every weekend yet this is distorted and misleading ideas in our minds which lead to problems further down the line. In truth people want to be healthy, happy and secure yet we mostly live towards the exact opposite goals.

Now that is the biggest load of crap I ever heard. Im sorry I dont usually sound quite so harsh but come on!! How many people are actually made happy I mean deep down happy not just physically pleasured for a couple of hours.

Even if it's a completely casual encounter, it certainly can cheer both parites up. Feeling well desired, and well satisfied, can put you in a good mood for at least a day.
Sexual encounters with someone you love do more than just satisfy you for the duration of your actions and maybe a little after. It's not typically reenacting a scene from the Discovery channel and someone dozing off and someone else wandering away (that's what marriage is for! lol). It can be followed up with a rather sappy holding session and deep and/or silly conversations. Waking up next to the person you love makes waking up not the worst moment of the day. Fooling around with them again makes it even better.
