I believe we should have a stricter way of putting people in power of our government. Now, I know there are many other problems but I'll deal with those afterwards (only if this online presentation is successful).
The reason: Statistics show that 20% of America actually votes. How can we even know if we can trust the intellect of the man or woman we allow in power (take Bush for example). Most of these people don't know squat about running a country, nor have the wisdom or ability to understand. Also, included in this group is the idea to remove "Parties" in our government. Thats right, A spiritually and scientifically neutral government. No extremist parties. We should have learned by now all these mistakes. I dont care what the Christians or other religious people say about this. And we shouldn't. American Democracy is a failure! No country can be this free without corruption. We still have war! We are at an unstable equilibrium (Thats right, a Paradox). It's time to make people learn and understand and make change! It's time for a national meeting! It's time to find the right kind of government! It's time to have a way of putting people we can trust in power! It's time for a revolution! It's time for a much deeper discussion on this topic because I don't want to fill up the description box! WHO IS WITH ME?!
americans ARENT smart. And you cant force everyone to vote. And the flaw with voting is that the people running for president arent smart either. So we can chose, but we cant trust, and we are ignorantlty picking from who has the money or who's dad was the last president or who gives the best speech when they really dont know wat they are talking about. And ever hear of the electoral college? They have the last say on who is president depending on other issues. And popular vote said Al Gore for president, though the electoral college put Bush in because they felt he was more experienced and his father was president and he had a lot of money. That sir, is corruption in this system of american democracy. And the reason we wouldnt have people like hitler or totalitarian rulers, is because we would do an interview of the sorts or something along those lines to test the intellect/wisdom of someone who can actually make things right.
We cant depend on a man thats part of an extremist party (because 90% of america is religious and will vote in a religious man.) We should have ONE party which is spiritaully and scientifically neutral. And one with a wise philosophical person in power, and we have to have a way of knowing. We should be stricter on who we let run our country. Otherwise we have war, poverty, inflation, "love of profit over love of people" and so forth
And we should be freedom of religion, but we shouldnt let religion influence politics which we get with this voting and parties.
And freedom of business sure, but no business or corporation should influence the power over this country
And sure, anti-relgion and scientific freedom and whatnot, but again shouldnt be involved with politics.
We havn't found the perfect government, and we shouldnt stop and be satisfied with all this corruption. We should constantly be making change, and we should have the freedom to do so. And this is a democracy right? For the people and by the people? Well why do they try to stop people from changing it?
I want this group to have at least a million people by the end of this year. Help me! I shouldn't be the only one sending out invitations or advertising it!
There needs to be major change! Major change, as in a revolution! We are humans who throughout history have been testing and changing governments and still we make the same mistakes! We have the ability to create peace! We have the ability to start a revolution for the better! What the hell is stoping us? WE ARE OUR OWN GOVERNMENT! But will a poor person or a dead fighter in the war say that The People/We are the ones making decisions? I'm sure that we approve of this war, im sure that we approve of what some corporations are doing to people and this planet, and im sure we even have a strong say in this apparently "we the people" government.
