Age, in a sense, matters16% Voted for by Sharcu, pure zen.
Alright, yes, maturity and love come in. But that's just sick if a 50 year old man loves a 14 year old girl. That's... wow, just sick. I believe that age does matter because when you are the same age, you have the same interests. Also, peer pressure a lot of times comes into play. So if I'm 16 and I fall in love with a 37 year old, then how can I walk around with her holding hands. Ya, if you're truly in love you shouldn't think what others think, but still, that's just sick. I can see if there's about a 10 year age difference, but over that it's just... bad. When your a teen, I think the only difference should be a couple of grade levels (like a junior going out with a freshman), but as you get older, I believe the age range increases. So if you meet someone online and they tell you they are the same age as you. Then you meet them and they are like 30 years different, are you going to still "love" them? I wouldn't because that trust that was built is now officially gone. They've lied to you for a long time. Just my two sense.

Age is merely a stupid number that doesn't mean a thing. If you are truely in love, as is the other person, then what is the harm?

just my two cents16% Voted for by rockrollbar, nays-lil-boat.
age means nothing. level of maturity and intentions mean everything. A 30 year old super model married to a 90 year old tycoon? A 40 year old lusting after a 14 year old? Intentions.

i think that if u found love in someone, thier age shouldnt hinder how u see them....if u fell in love with them as a person(which everyone should) then age is merely a marker of years...it means nothing

I've always had a somewhat "hopeless romantic" view of age, that it;s how you act, not the number of years you have lived. But lately i have come to realize that the number of years you've lived on this earth and had experiences here greatly effects who you are and how you act. Thoguh, there is always exceptions.

How I thinkVoted for by bigmissdevil06.
ok...to me age is just a number...i have fallin in love with a guy almost twice my age....i'm 17 he's 32 almosst 33...all that counts is how you feel for your partner...i've been with sooo many guys my own age and none of them no how to treat a person...the only thing that i think is wrong is the 14 and 50 year old...that would be wrong...but if you truly love the person it shouldn't matter the age...

i'm 17. i don't get along w/people my age because they're incredibly ignorant and i'm too advanced even for most adults. i get along with people older than myself and have more in common with them. my fiancee is 26. he's the only person who's ever given a damn about me and he's the only one who truly respects and supports me. if you think that's wrong, well then you're the kind of person i wouldn't associate myself with anyway.

Shouldn't MatterVoted for by KissKissFry.
my definiton of love is that there is no definition. love does not come with a number. if you've found someone who truly loves you, and you know you wouldnt be able to breathe without them, their age should not matter... at all. age, to me is a limit in love. maybe people believe that if a 28 year old "loves" a 14 year old, he may have some bad intentions. would u think that? but love isnt about letting people know everything that goes on in ur relationship. i dont think that they should be together considering the big age difference, but you cant stop someone from loving... and age shouldnt be an interferance
