Can one opinion change something?

I was reading a girls bio and she said that opinions do not matter because they wont change anything. I would like to know how other people feel. Do you think that one opinion makes a difference in life? Can one person effect the world? Please feel free to use personal experience to support your opinion.

  • Butterfly Effect...

Everyone's opinion means something and has the power to change evereything. Its the butterfly effect. My opinions have changed my entire high school, but only because I spoke out. Never say that someone's opinion wont change anything because it will, if it is projected. "Give me firm spot on which to stand and I shall move the world." By changing one person I have done more than what is expected. I have changed many and in turn they will change others and the world continues to ebb and flow, never stopping, always changing, all because some little boy spoke out in one class about the pointlessness of war. One voice resounds in the heavens for all eternity, but only because it was spoken. I realize that you probably wont have some large apiphany. I am merely speaking my opinion.

  • One opinion

I think all opinions start initially from one opinion, don't they? So one opinion is the most significant of all. I know schools and universities stress upon group work, but that I feel is in fact a hindrance to any substantial outcome. Why? Because the stupid are the ones that are more aggressive and dominating and so would not like to hear what the brilliant say because it makes them feel inferior which is something they positively detest. Individual opinion and work should be valued more. Also, group work puts some who are shy and not so confident in an uncomfortable position. But no, the schools and universities will not see that. They will just believe some stupid who enforced that group work is THE IDEAL THING. I believe group work is very good where work needs to be done, finished or completed and more hands are welcome, but not where opinion counts!

  • Yes One Opinion Can Change Something

Yes one opinion can change things. In this world it all started that way. Today there is a answer to that ouestion. That is where we have all disagrement in the world. One can follow a positive opinion and it last for generations to come and likewise the opposit.
