What is Freedom and Happiness?

  • never...

you can never truly be free because freedom has a price to pay and the price is giving up some of your freedom (ironic and misleading i know). happiness can never truly be achieved because you will always want more, you could be the richest peron in the world and never have to work again, i can guarentee you will want something else and will not be happy. though you can be happy you can never achieve true happiness and keep ot forever, sad, depressing would be a better word but true!

  • the goal

Freedom brings happiness. when i say freedom, is the freedom of the spirit, when we can hover over earth, aware of who we are, what we are, aware of our surroundings. When just the now matters and we feel like we can do anything, when there is no anger, no frustration, no worries no barriers., when we are free, our spirit is light, and we are happy… and we think: lifes beautiful. :-)

  • A state of mind

Freedom and happiness are constructs of the mind’s (Self’s) Will to be free and/or happy … The mind creates it’s reality based on the experiences and necessities it encounters in it’s physical existence and then chooses (consciously or subconciously) what that reality will feel like.

  • Define Freedom and Happiness.

Can both these been achieved at the same time? What do they both mean? Okay so people talk about freedom being, living without the law, spending a relaxing life by the seaside. Being free! I often think of Pirates myself Freedom is important to me, whether it’s to do with myself personally or with society. Often people are caught out though when in a relationship with someone, often wanting more freedom and being footloose. I like to tell myself that I can live with my freedom without a lover but then I get so lonely and unhappy. Happiness? Freedom? Can we have both?

  • Happines possible, freedom is another thing

Happines comes when you are at peace with yourself. Freedom, is another thing. Perhaps it is being accepted for who you are, possible it is another way to call happiness. I struggle alot to feel free, the funny thing is, I don't know what freedom exactly means, but I think that every person has their own deffension. For some it might be happiness for others peace, for some danger.

Theres no such thing as freedom and happiness. We can never be free. Theres always something. Americans are supposed to be free but the laws which are supposed to provide order and prevent chaos hinder us completely. Gay marriage should be something "free" people have yet we dont. Freedom is one of those words that end up being empty. Consistent happiness is unattainable. You can be happy at one point or another but you cant be happy all the time. I dont even know how true happiness can be defined. Whether its defined by a story, a feeling, or maybe a smell...like spring air or something. Neither is possible without giving up something which could in turn make you unhappy or not free. Depending on which is more important to you.
