Ok so I had this dream and it was about my best friend. He is a guy and I am a girl. Anyway I like him as more than a friend, but I will never have him. Anyway in this dream he turned up at my house and said that his girlfriend was in labour I said I had to go with him to the hospital. He said yes, I need you there to hold my hand. What's the deal with this???

I think this may be your minds way of helping you cope with your feeling that you will never have him. Him needing you there to hold his hand may be a way that your mind is showing you that he may not be yours but he may still need you to help him through tough and trying times. in other words your mind may just be telling you that even if you aren't a couple you are still best friends which in uncertain or chaotic situations can be very important people.
Forgive me if I sound crazy or if I've rambled a bit.

Remember, it is alot harder to keep a friend than to keep a lover, and a lot harder to find a good friend than a good lover. This dream may be telling you that he values your friendship, that you value his, and you are better at being there for him as a friend than as a lover. He is obvoisly more like a brother than a lover. By the way, Launcelot is wrong, the idea of dreams and fathoming them is philosophy, and they have no right to tell us what is and whats isnt.

We dream of things at night cause we don't have enough time to think about them during the day. You have millions of dreams a night but only remember some...some dreams mean nothing and others are pointing you somewhere. Maybe you should talk to your friend tell him you like him before he's out of your life completely. I had a dream the guy I like died...it was horrible but he never died after talking to him about it...it seemed kinda funny. Besides...most dreams don't come true anyway...

Hes your friend so hes going to count on you when he needs you. Hes having an issue or a special moment and he wants you there. If you have problems interpreting dreams there are many good websites out there that help.
