Soft wood Lumber

Canada claims that the US owes us a few billion dollars in soft wood lumber due to unfair tariffs. do you think that Canada is in the right when asking for it or is the US right for taking it?

    Canada and the US have a free trade agreement. The US cant just randomly change parts of it that are inconvienent. The US put the tariffs on because it was damaging their lumber business, but much of canada's industry is dammaged because of american free trade.
