what has become of peoples love for each other and the world?

the love for each other, it's so scarce that you barly even see it in your family and friends any more. Just tell me what you think about this, I'm very open minded and I expect for all of you to be in this response , thank you and take care.

It's so hard to see the good, when there is so much bad in this place we call home. We go on with our lives, like nothing ever happened to that thirteen year old girl who got raped down the street, or that one weird girl in glass with the black eye who just said she fell when really you know it was here drunk father on a bad night, or your best friend getting killed in a car accident, all because of a drunk driver. How do we react? We go on, that's what we have to do, because who else is going to run our lives. But there still is this thing that you know you need to do. It's called showing love, and hope for one another. But we don't have time. We're to busy with are minds racing and our bodies sitting still. To fast to stop us, even to show emotion. It's like we're all just numb to reality, it's there but we refuse to see it, the way it needs to be seen. So maybe if people help one another a little more, and realize that everyone has a heart, somewhere, that makes them human, and mortal. Emotion for one another won't be as bad as everyone thinks it is.

I don't know about you but I have plenty of love from my friends and family, and I give plenty of love, too much at times perhaps. Yet I agree that sometimes when things go general, we do tend to see lots of hate. For example: people hating entire nations or entire ethnic groups because of preconceived notions or such. This is the hate that causes wars. And then, there is the hate for people with specific types of personalities, or people with specific tastes, which is plain stupid. I know many people that, because they hate punk music, hate people who listen to punk music. That's just an example really, but that's idiocy in its most concrete state. And well, there's also the hate of society in general, people-haters. They're becoming more numerous it seems, or not, but they're heard now more than ever. And then, where has the love gone? I don't think that love has gone anywhere but rather people hardly express towards things they do not know. People have a hard time accepting anything that's different. So love has just been hidden away along with the tolerance we once had for people and this world.

  • rock bottom facts

I'm sorry to say this, but things have always been this way... it's just the communication era, and we hear about it alot more.

People have bee fighting, I'm sure, since before we even used fire. In my opinion, love is simply a concept. We are tought to love, the same way we are taught to walk.

Take time for example. We used time originally to schedual our 'day' to 'day' activities, know when to harvest crops, and for women... you know...

Love is the human response to being very attracted to a mate. Humans, really, aren't supposed to be monogimus.

  • Love isn't a dying concept

I really don't think that there's just no love anymore. Rather, it's just that world conflicts are on a greater scale than in any of the past centuries, and the fact that there are more educated people now than in any other century, so political/social/economic issues that underscore the conflicts/wars are understood by more people and are a bigger part of more people's daily lives than before. Hence, all the bad things in the world get way over-emphazised in the media. That's how the media sells things. I mean, would you really turn on the news to listen to an hour of people doing good deeds and spreading happy love? Not so much..... There's 7 billion people in the world, and while there's certainly lots of conflict that involves lots of people, even that can't cancel out the love of all of the rest of the world.
