IN ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION AND USING YOUR EXAMPLE I FIND THAT COMMON SENSE IS SOMETHING WE ALL HAVE BUT SOME USE SPARINGLY. ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO RELIGION . I AM OF THE OPINION THAT PEOPLE TEND TO BE EMOTIONAL ABOUT THEIR RELIGION THEY OFTEN TIMES DO NOT REASON. IN REGARDS TO THOSE CHRISTIAN WHO HIT PEOPLE OVER THE HEADS WITH THEIR BELIEFS AND OR ASSUMPTIONS. THEY ARE NOT REAL CHRISTIANS,A TRUE BELIEVER IN CHRIST WOULD NOT PUSH THEIR BELIEFS DOWN OTHER PEOPLES THROATS AND TAKE PLEASURE IN OTHER PEOPLES PAIN. THAT IS CALLED HIPOCRACY.

I will agree with you that far too many people do not use common sense. as for the jab at Christianity, I understand where you come from but you must under stand that Christians accept them but that does not mean that they are spineless. They live by the bible as best they can and the book says blatintly that homosexuality is a sin, and so they dissagree with it. So I'm basically trying to say they accept them as people lovingly but they can not accept them as homosexuals into their religion.

Common is what common does. Common is whatever is popular. The common is made up of the average intellect which in America is based on TV education. It is basically the mind and intelligence of a 15 year old. The only way to get beyong that level of intelligence is to READ. Read the right books, not romance novels and 007 tales. Capitalism is based on controlling the masses, and manipulating the masses. Hence, the common people are kept at common sense level so they cannot know when they are getting manipulated into buying product.
