Many people in our society today believe that appearance is everything. Especially when you come into the working world where bosses of highly renound companies conduct their decisions on job positions based on the applicant's appearance. What causes people to feel hatred towards their own appearance because of their imperfections?

People tend to notice our appearance first when they make flash judgements when meeting new people. Looking at someone's appearance is generally the first way we can make judgements about whether we would consider the person we wouldn't mind hanging out with as a friend or someone who we think we would never want to seen with. The population in the United States continues to grow and as it does more and more people tend to worry about their appearance when instead they should be embracing what they look like instead of trying to change what color of hair they have or trying to impress someone by changing their entire appearance. Although some people haven't reached that stage of confidence and self-assurance to be pleased with their appearance and not care what other people think about you as long as you love who you are. Truly as long as you love yourself, it doesn't matter what others think about you.
