Before unification, Germany had been divided into so many states and she was in turmoil and disintegration. It was the iron chancellor Otto Von Bismark, who adopted the policy of blood and iron and stood firmly for the noble cause of uplifting his nation. He defeated the enemies of Prussia and won wars to complete the unification. His name has been written in golden words in the history of Germany.
