Before unification, Germany had been divided into so many states and she was in turmoil and disintegration. It was the iron chancellor Otto Von Bismark, who adopted the policy of blood and iron and stood firmly for the noble cause of uplifting his nation. He defeated the enemies of Prussia and won wars to complete the unification. His name has been written in golden words in the history of Germany.

Bismarck was a great leader100% Voted for by NeferMaatNetjer, Mujtaba H Zaidi.
Bismarck was a great leader, but he set his country on a course which ultimatly lead to defeat. His militarism and secret treaties were ultimatly to lead up to World War I, which Germany could not win. Hitler, trying to ape Bismarck's military and industrial accompishments, plunged Germany into war again, and final defeat.
No, I don't blame Bismarck for WWII, but Hitler and other politicians trying to imitate Bismarck were the cause of it. Had he been alive, I think Bismarck would have used more judgement than any of the Nazis.
