What are guys really here for.

Men are here for the same reason as for you and me. They're here to live. In biological terms, they're a contributing half that, when joined to a woman's half, makes life. Simple.
Fun fact: the male gender will be completely extinct within 5000 generations, according to scientific facts. The y-chromosome is less resistant to the pollution and radiation of this earth, while the x-chromosome is more so.

the mental, physical, and emotional make-up of females verses males then it becomes increasingly clear that neither is actually superior of the other but they are equal. Each one is gifted within these areas in their own way. I believe their purpose is to compliment each other.

Men are here as result of genetic defects. sort of like hermaphrodites and people with down syndrome, but I like them a lot, and in most cases, think they are far more fit to roam the earth then us wemon folk. but, that's just my mysogenistic opinion

not so fun fact
That assumes a lot. Like that we'd survive that long without being wiped out by an asteroid or something anyway. Second of all the technology that enables people to find that out will probably enable them to reverse any such damage before another 500 generations have come and gone, let alone 5000. If, on the other hand, there wasn't any such technology, then women would be just as extinct. And don't go bringing up cloning or anything because that's part of the genetic technology that enabled us the find the problem in the first place, and besides, it might have problems of its own that would wipe them out in a mere 1000 generations for all we know.December 6, 2005

Firstly, when I said fun fact, I didn't mean that it is an amusing fact or whatnot. Just a fact, a casual fact. Whatever. Secondly, I wasn't taking into consideration catastrophes or such. I don't think you even got the point of what I said: "...then women would be just as extinct." No they wouldn't. You know the female sex is constituted of the xx chromosome pair, and that the male sex is constituted of the xy chromosome pair, right? I said that "The y-chromosome is less resistant to the pollution and radiation of this earth" which is a fact. That means that the male sex is less resistant because women do not have the y chromosome. It's not complicated and it doesn't mean men or weaker or that women are better or whatnot. It just means that the y-chromosome is less resistant and that if this earth were to remain in this state for 5000 generations, the male sex would be extinct. However, this earth will not stay like that forever and like you said, technology will probably be advanced enough to find a solution for this.cosmosis

Thank you Captain Obvious. Although, by the time the male race will be extinct, we'll have discovered a way to clone humans successfully or reproducing sperm or fertilizing an ovum in another way. Or, also, perhaps the entire human race will be extinct because of a war, pollution, something else? Who knows?March 7, 2006

I hate that fact
Um. My debate is the actual "fun" part of that fact. Suppose men went extinct then women would soon follow as they died because there would be no more mating...That doesn't sound fun ><Please register or login to comment! It's totally free
