Okay, I'm bisexual. I dont think i was born that way i just know that i like to be with women as well as men (i'm a greedy pleasure seeker) I've been out with a female, i fell inlove with her, i fall inlove with men too. They just dont realise it until they reach a certain age then ofcourse they have to accept it, and i'm sure that god (if there is one) never said love was wrong whoever it may be between whether its Bin Laden and the Queen of england or people of the same sex!

I assume you were joking about all the homophobes burning, but i think that joke is in bad taste. If you are going to make a discussion on an intolerant group of people you should not make intolerant comments as it is deeply hypocritical. If you want to persuade people to see your point of view then you should write in a way that informs and argues, not a letter filled with anger and hypocritical prejudices against christians.

By saying this, you become like the people who are discriminating against you. Many of these people who do not think that gays are alright have been brought up that way and that is probably all they had been exposed to until the whole gay thing became such an issue. So when they say they don't like gay people they are saying what they have been fed all their lives. Now don't get me wrong, I am not defending people who are against gays, but neither will I curse them. This is what they chose to believe and if they want to live in ignorance, so be it. You should not make yourself angry and upset because someone does not agree with your choice. What they think should not matter, just love your life the way you want and ignore them. When you start shouting back, it is then that you become hypocritical and totally undermine what you are trying to prove.

i always understood that a homophobe was a person who was violently opposed to homosexuals. if we bandy about words like homophobe letting them take on a meaning that wasen't intended do we as gay people become as bad as the ones who we wish to rebuke. it is all to easy to get carried away surfing thruogh all the antigay nonsence here and on other sites. words like racest+ homophobe should be used but spairingly or we risk losing all credabilty.

What is a homophobe? is it someone who is violently anti-gay, or just someone who isn't gay themselves? Is it someone who who carries "god hates fags" signs, or is it someone who simply does not believe in homosexuality? are all straights homophobes, or just those who don't champion gay rights? I want to know what the definition of a homophobe is.
