Ok, this might be a bit dicey but I MUST ask.
We're taught by Christ that ALL have sinned and ALL have erred, so why do we act as if we're perfect?

He died for us all because we ALL are in the wrong.60% Voted for by praise-reborn, Makessenseright, I try.
I believe our own pride and foolhardyness convinves us to go the way of Satan and self. Why do we have such a hard time recognising and taking the blame for wrongs we commit? As mentioned before, God said that ALL have fallen short of His glory. This INCLUDES christians, right up to the priests, pastors, and popes.
Is it human nature to rebel against what we know is right and seek our own pleasure? Satan? Just not caring about our state of being?
Please, opinions welcome!

i agree...(from a athiest-ish view point)Voted for by The MisSin Truth.
okay i'm not athiest, i was once but nolonger. but the question you stated is the exact reason i do not follow religeon. i have found more hypocrites in a church than some my friends and family have come across in prison. i know, not believe, i know the "most high" but i refuse to fall into the "belief" that therr is a hell, a devil, or actual evil. evil is a creation of man. we live by that. people are mislead in the first place by being religeous, people should be spiritual not religeous. religion is pawn for politicians not true faith. this is where the crack in it all lies. society makes it wrong to be human because most are trying to play god. though someone claims a title of pope, pastor, christian, or any other of that sort does not mean they live that way.

Hypocrisy in the ChurchVoted for by YoungMustang.
I agree when it is said that there is alot of hypocrisy in the church. I personally am a Christian who believes Christ died for my sins and rose from the grave. I went to a Christian school for 3 years and have been going to church my whole life. As i grow older, i see more and more hypocrisy in Christians. Now as a sidenote, everyone who has ever lived is a hypocrite, regardless of what anyone says. We have all double-talked and/or said things we dont back up with our actions. In the church it's that balance between what i know for a fact is right and what the flesh part of my soul desires to do. If i had sex before i was married i would still say that it is wrong and that people should not do it. Now people can obviously point out that i contradict myself and i would lose a lot of credit as a preacher. Jesus fought against the Pharisees ( the biggest hypocrites of ALL TIME) becuz he knew they were not pure. Hypocrisy is born from arrogance. If we were all humble, we would not feel the need to act all high and religious all the time. But becuz we are arrogant, we want ppl to think we have it all together and that we are following what Jesus said better than everyone else is. I hate arrogance and I hate hypocrisy, but i am willing to accept that i have shown both qualities at times. We all just need to be more humble and fight the urge to want to prove that we are perfect. Please do not blame Christianity and Jesus becuz of hypocrisy in the church. We are not perfect. Jesus was. Follow HIS teachings and not OURS.

we all
The bible says we are sinful in our mothers womb, so I don't know how you think that we are born with only a sin nature. I beleive we are all fallen and only god can help us.June 19, 2006
