You all probably know that guys are said to think with their little head (aka their penis). I want to know what you think: about why people say this, if it is true, why guys do this, if all guys do this, and when it begins and ends. Let me explain why. My girlfriend told me that the only guy that she knows who doesn't think with their little head is me. She found this so confusing (because it is different from the other guys she knows) that she actually though I was gay for a while. So please reassure me that not all guys brains are in their pants. (no pun intended).

Society teachers guys that it is ok/expected to think about sex (almost exclusively) all the time. As a result boys act on what they feel they should, they try and get into as many different girl's pants as they can. Not all guys mind you but most of them. It would logically follow that girls would tell each other that so and so is only interested in one thing. (Girls do that to protect their friends.) It has become so normal that its expected and many girls end up feeling pressured into doing things that they dont want to. When the norm becomes the wrong it is time for change.

1)Why people say this: People say this because it is somewhat true.
2)Is it true: Like I said above, to a degree it is. Men are more sexual than women and they tend to think more about sex.
3)Why guys do this: The man's sexual drive is more powerful than the women's therefore it more greatly controls our attitudes, reactions, and moods.
4)When it begins and ends: It begins at puberty and ends whenever the man's sexual drive shuts down.
But no, not all guys heads are "in their pants". Man still has a free will and the "2nd head" can only control a man to a certain degree. And I think there's something to be said for a guy who's head isn't in his pants. A guy who doesn't care as much about sex will be more compassionate and understanding of his girlfriend/wife. So kudos to you, your one of the few guys who value honor.

The sexual impulses that people have are not produced by their environment. They arise naturally. Men do tend to think about sex more often than females but it is necessary that it should be that way. Rather than allowing yourself to be judged by the female's standards you should uphold your own. It is absolutely true that without the interest the male has for the female the species would die out. There are many women who find the interest that their mate has in sex to be a source of great pleasure for them. It can be a bond that helps a couple grow closer. Females who are mature will accept males for what they are and not need to say nasty things about their desires or belittle them. p. Your girlfriend, who was alarmed by what she took to be your lack of interest in sex probably has limited experience.

I personaly think that it is not that the guys think with thier southern head, its just that nowdays, it is more "aproporiate" for guys to talk about sex with their friend and think about it then girls. I was lucky to grow up without friends or much parent control. I have known alot of people and from personal experince, not all guys only think about sex, not all girls despise and/or blush at the very thought of it, and guess what, no all of them are bitches.

Not all guys think with their penis. Everyone thinks about sex at some point or another, and some more than often. The ones that usually think with their penis are perverts, usually.

The media I believe put that image into our minds. Yes, guys tend to think about sex a bit more than girls do, but thats natural. There are some guys out there, though, that only think about sex. We might as well refer to them as animals. Reproduction machines. But I can see a point of veiw as where this is true and not. But yea some guys are pretty decent and dont rely on sex to build a relationship.

How do I know this?? It is happening to me. Even tho he has diabetes and a severe heart condition, is going out on screw-dates with one-night stands with his Viagra in hand. I've loved him for 16 years -but now his thinking with his little head rather than his big head has totally ruined our relationship. I no longer have one shred of respect for him. The one man in the world who's brain can function just as well with and without his penis just happens to be the one who you've gotten to know properly instead of lumping into a generalisation based on a stereotype? What a coincidence!
Most guys I know can function with one, the other, or both - and are more than capable of controlling which of those three options they go with. My boyfriend for instance, all his mates, most of my male mates, etcetera.
