What is True Love? What is a Soul Mate? are they the same or diffrent? can one be found with out the other? is it posible to find one or both, can you be happy with out them?

In the beginning of a budding relationship... there is infatuation... it can last a long time..or a short while. That is where there is that heart pounding, nervous, passionate feeling. Then there is love, fondness. Love is more difficult than infatuation. Love is what can last by itself..but in order to stay together..you need a continuious infatuation. Love is caring, being there, understanding.. generally unconditional also..and different degrees of love also. I used to believe in soulmates..but Im not so sure anymore. The more you live..the less sure you get.

the great thing about love is how you just CANT explain it. and thats why we call it love. to long to see that same person every moment you breath or how your heart starts beating ten times faster when u hear their name or see it on the caller ID. small things like that mean so much in life. true i agree there are circumstances where people don't feel that lust for each other any more, but normally they're still fond or one another. i don't know how to explain, love is such a beautiful thing, how that same person is the only reason to continue living. you may think i'm a sap romantic person, but i think most people who have been brought up surrounded by love will feel that way sometimes during their life. it does exhist. u can't fight it

I don't believe in love at least not the current majority mindset of it. I believe in compatibility. Events in our lives shape who we are. When two people find each other and things that have happened to them make them compatible they feel better together they complement eachother and are better for having been together but things happen EVENTS happen and people change which is "FALLING OUT OF LOVE." but really is change in persona and compatibility. We created "Love" as a means to explaining something we didn't understand and it made it easier to deal with, some people created things with their over active imaginations like soul mates star crossed lovers destined for each other because it helped them. So i believe in neither just simple precise compatibility. And one can be happy with out "Love", compatibility, i am lol.
