Does 2+2=4? Then why do we fear the ultimate truth? That there is something higher than us?

There has always been a feeling of accomplishment among many here in the world. That they are somehow all set, and that life poses no mysteries. However, one has to contemplate the obvious. Life simply cannot exist. For if we have no purpose, then we should not be here. If everything else on this earth has a purpose, than how can we possibly say we don’t? It is the lifelong question that haunts our very souls for centuries. What is our purpose? To simply say that we are here for the embellishment of creation would be utter stupidity and falsehood, for it is proven that creation does not need or want our assistance. The very essence of creation is based on the foundation that is human less, or should be. Hence all extinct animals are the consequences of our existence. So our purpose is to what extent? That we would deny the existence of something higher than ourselves. That is the thing which we fear most, our insignificance. That we are less than we think we are. Heaven forbid we should bow to someone we cannot see. That we should humble ourselves unto obedience. For why should we pay tribute to an unseen myth? It is then that we must ask ourselves, why? Why would we defy such a seemingly small thing? Why is it so hard to submit to the Christian God? The answer is accountability and responsibility. None of mankind wishes to take accountability for any actions. So naturally we dismiss God, and dismiss our accountability for adultery, murder, and other such things. For Christianity makes us responsible for the things that we give into. Therefore we as humans deny our own purpose, giving way to circumstances such as suicide, cutting, anorexia, due to thinking we have no purpose and no reason to exist. We do it to ourselves. There is no way that we can ever be content until we find our purpose and why we are here. This world doesn’t need us, the only possible answer is that something higher wants us here. Scientists say that we come from atoms and protons and neutrons. I ask: what is smaller than a neutron? Where do they come from? That question is impossible to answer. I have heard rumors that they are space dust. Dust. In Christianity, we humans come from dust. Almost an exact answer that scientists have proved. Therefore, doesn’t this make Christianity reliable? There are so many things that we wish to deny. For it is not in ourselves to be humble, or want to understand what we fear. WE FEAR ULTIMATE TRUTH… we wish to deny that there is a God because we don’t think that it is true. However, if I say that I don’t think that 2+2= 4….is it false? No, of course not. There are no variables in that ultimate truth. You can try to add things to the first part of the equation to try and change the answer…2+3+5=4…but it will be wrong. You can add different numbers to the equation… 3+1=4….and it will be true. But eventually, you must get the right path to the right answer or ultimate truth. The equation must measure up to the product.

MISSING MY PRETTY LITTLE MARIONVoted for by Jazmin Saavedra.
Don’t like the look in your eyes, could it be that your looking past our dimension into a place where we have yet not been. Staring at the walls, your pain and sorrows are finalized in your eyes. Taking a deep breath, suddenly your anguish will be gone. Peace is what I see in your eyes now. What has happened, that now I want to be who stares at the wall. Could it be your graduation day from this unspeakable life. Alzheimer’s, has taken over your life. And in this world you have left the emptiness that will vanish like the look in your eyes. Screaming inside of me sweet madness, that brings me to my knees. My beautiful resident, Alzheimer’s has taken your life. My silent beautiful angel, memories disappear from your veins. May you find some comfort in me, with your head on my shoulder. Will you remember my voice when I say to you,” my pretty little Marion.” You will find a path, night or day to get away from the dark cold room where fear does not exist. Dedicated to all my loving Residents with Alzheimer. Jazmin Saavedra 04/20/06

I think 2+2=3, people still say I'm wrong. But I think it's possible. Heh. Oh and we fear the ultimate truth because think about it...ITS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH. And what if it turns out to be what we have feared all along? Humans are afriad to be wrong.

Hmm
I often wonder what purpose do we have. At the moment it seems we are here to destroy the planet and ourselves. I believe in something higher, what it is i'm not sure, but it's the fighting, factions and inconsistencies of religion that turns me away. Most religions do hold wonderful beliefs about peace and love and the likes but none of them get along. So who's right? As for humankinds purpose, I don't think its a good one. Just looks at us.Please register or login to comment! It's totally free
