A Will to Die...23% Voted for by Venusian Poetess, RuthArabellaTrasher, Neros Decay.
In Pagan philosophy it is believed that all things that one says, does, or thinks will be manifested into reality. If this is true, is this saying that creation in itself is the sole cause of death?
By definition, disease is dis-ease of the body. It is caused by stressors of everyday life. At least one time in our lives, we wish death upon ourselves or others. So, if we manifest what we think, are we manifesting our own fate?
Let us suspend reality for just a second and pretend that we live in happy-fun-land where there is no stress such as loss, heartbreak, anger, etc. Now there is no reason to think of death or killing. Would death not exist to a stressless society?
Could this be the gateway to our own immortality? If we just stop thinking about death and killing, would it all just stop?

Destruction is a Choice23% Voted for by Eosin, Neros Decay, Sealight.
I believe you do get to a certain point of not being able to handle life like this anymore. Your brain will die with your body..but your energy will be as free as you have struggled for it to be. Like stress and hate and negative energy really determines how we 'live' after death...

OUR PHYSICAL BODIES, OUR SHELL WILL WITHER AND WASTE, IT IS INEVITABLE. OUR ESSENCE, OUR BEING, WILL GO ON AND ON AND ON AND ON. I DO BELIEVE THE POWER OF OUR MIND IS EXCPETIONAL, IT CAN EVEN PRODUCE ACTIONS OUT OF THOUGHT, BUT DEATH IN THE WAY YOU ARE REFERING TO IT,WILL ENEVITABLY ENSUE. WHO WOULD WANT TO BE TRAPPED IN THIS BODY FOR ALL OF ETERNITY? ALL DEATH IS IS THE ULTIMATE RELEASE. WHO KNOWS WHERE WE WILL BE RELEASED TO. MAYBE ANOTHER DIMENSION, OR I LIKE TO THINK WE WILL LIVE IN DREAM LADND ETERNALLY. REALITY IS PRODUCED AND RESTRICTED BY OUR THOUGHTS. WE HAVE BEEN RAISED TO BELIEVE WE LIVE IN A STRUCTURED WORLD, SO WE THINK WE ARE. ONCE DEATH IS APPARANT I HOPE WE ARE FREE TO CREATE THE WORLD AROUND US WITHOUT ANY PHYSICAL LAWS HOLDING US BACK FROM DREAMING INFINITE POSSIBLITIES!!!!

immortality doesnt necessarily mean a physical state of exsistence. the death of our physical selves is much different than that of our mental and spiratual selves. the atcion of releasing from life is a mental and physical choice. after you've aged and your body and its functions begin to fail you it is ok to a person to "let go" of life. i agree with Eosin and Venusian Poetress.

My Idea Seems OddVoted for by Lostinawe.
What if you have a child whom you raise away from society.... You tell them nothing of a god, nothing of the world, they are to decide this on their own... Negative thoughts are not involved.... This child may be free to think and believe what they want.... With encouragement they could possible be taught to walk on water to levatate, fly...to never die, no one says they cant so why can't they......
