God's law was written on us21% Voted for by Jesusquest, A Dreamer Awake, Makessenseright.
The law of god was written on us, but we can harden ourselves not to listen to it. This is what i think our conscious is. It depends on the person, some listen to the law of god, others do not.

YESGOOD QUESTION. I BELIEVE WE THAT SHOULD LEARN TO TRUST OURSELVES AND OUR INTUITION. IN ORDER TO TRUST YOURSELF YOU GOT KNOW YOURSELF. THIS KNOWLEDGE DOES NOT COME OVER NIGHT. IF WE LISTEN TO OUR INNER VOICE(INTUITION) WHICH LEADS US DOWN THE RIGHT PATH AND AWAY FROM DANGER, WE WOULD COULD THEN BE MORE CAREFUL WITH OUR CHOICES AND WE WOULD BE MORE CONFIDENT IN OUR ABILITIES.21% Voted for by El Amor Soy Yo, Frail Braid, Dienush.

Gods law???Voted for by Life-Unknown.
Though i think in many senses we should not trust ourselfs and in others we should, i think it just has to do with morals and what people deem as proper... But then again that in itself requiers trust in ourselfs... But to the main point of my comment i read talk on gods laws laid upon us... ever stop to think of how for a long time gods laws were past down through man for a long time before writen into text, and then the problem of translation bariers??? i mean i just find it kindda ironic in a way that the question is can we trust ourselfs and ourselfs are the one passing one all this information...

We do have God's will in us that lets us know that we are doing the right thing, but as humans we are weak and can't help ourselves. Some people in a lawless society be better people by learning from experience, but many would not be better people. If there is no reprimand for a bad deed, and you do not reprimand yourself for doing it, then why won't you do it again? God gives us the knowledge of what is right, but we do not follow the right path very often. This is very similar to God's law was Written on us, I just wanted to go into more detail.

Trusting societyVoted for by Tainted Innocence.
I just read and commented on a debate on whether or not murder should be legalized and it made me think. If it were legalized, would the world's population as we know it come to an end? Would everyone start killing people they hated, just because it was allowed? What if there were no laws? No laws to govern our society, our every move? Would we, then, let our 'animal instincts' take over? Would we allow ourselves to be consumed by morbid curiosity and do something because we were allowed to or because it felt good instead of doing something because it were the right thing to do?
Am I just being cynical? Should we trust ourselves to do the right thing even if there were laws against it?

We should not trust ourselves. Our only goal in life is to kill ourselves so as to advance ourselves in the anarchy that we want to create. We are pure evil.

Trust YourselfVoted for by rosepoet.
To trust yourself talk to the heart. We are made with a concious mind. Guilt hunts the mind. Keep the mind focus on important things.

it makes no difference after allVoted for by puddle of worms.
We can't trust anyone, not even ourselves. All of our thoughts have been changed by our environmment. Wiether we live inthe city and we see all types of comercials on t.v. with subliminal messages. Or live in the country and the patterens of the rings around trees or the exact patteren of grass, or the animals (particularly birds)around us. They have all been modified to mess with our thoughts. They have all been preset by some high up people. (Im guessing its the government.) So, no matter where we go there is no escaping it. We just have to accept that we have no choice about anything, and never will.

Well..Voted for by LostWithoutYou14.
It comes to a certain point in our lives where we might lie to ourselves to get over a guy for example. Most of the times though Its hard to really trust anyone else but ourselves. So i gotta say can you trust yourself? It really depends on the situation.
