Dreams - Can someone shed some light on mine?

In nearly every dream i have (and i dream every night and remember them) I breathe underwater. The analogy of dreams interests me, yet i cannot find anything on being able to breathe underwater.

My dreams range from just being underwater in endless sea, and breathing.. all night, to a usual dream that just happens to have a section where i am underwater and i can breathe. :S

I was wondering if any of you have any interpretations that mey be relevent to me or just an opinion on the topic in general. Thanks

  • I'll try

Breathing underwater, I’d say relates to a feeling of being trapped but coping. Endless sea could be extreme loneliness. You see, what I’m getting at is. Your standing there and you know it’s wrong. No one can breathe underwater. You’re feeling odd out of place. But you can’t get out. You also don’t need to you can breathe you dont have to get out. But you want out. How do I know, because there is no obvious way out.

    That’s my attempt

when you think of ater and under sea creatures you think of complete freedom with nothing to deter you from happiness or from being who you want to be. your dreams is your mind subconciously giving you complete freedom and happiness that you can not fully get in real life when you awaken. that is just my opnion though i am not saying it is right or i have read it anywhere but that is how i have interpreted it.

For the most part the people who have previously commented are right. Water represents emotions. You being under that water shows that you have been over run by these emotional situations, or at least you should have been. You being able to breath under them with ease shows your ability to cope and also I think in a way your apathetic style. I'm not sure on that part of it, but that's what I'd give you as an interpretation. Hope that helps.

  • Your are on an ASTRAL tripper

Water is symbol for spirit. Under water means lower vibration in physical world (here). I used to dream about houses have floods. It met the person who owned the house was about to die- read go into spirit.

Had these when my mother and grand mother passed away.

  • Recalling dreams...

hey, i remember my dreams every night too! none of my friends do. but you have this dream often? that’s wierd, ive never had such a basic dream. i almost never remember my good dreams. but water is supposed to symbolize your unconciouse. i dont think the breathing really sybolizes anything, it more just shows you that you can be underwater and breath. maybe you have an understanding with our unconiouse (ooh)? I think that sounds like a cool dream. I wish i could have such a basic one like that to. in part of my dream once i jumped off a thousand foot house and landed into some water, and i expected to die and for the dream to end, but then i realized i was breathing and it feal really wierd.

Water often symbolises intuition, emotions, and spirit.

Tantra Yoga teaches us that we are our breath.

water of life. breath of life.

    water, breath, life.

To breathe underwater denotes a special talent, I would venture to say latent talent because its UNDER water, meaning undiscovered by you as of yet. Since its water you are breathing, that talent may be intuitive, or creative or both.
The fact you are saying water, ocean and breathing are recurring elements of your dream life I'd say your subconscious is trying hard to get a specific point across to your waking mind.

Continue watching your dreams, try seeding your dreams by giving yourself a suggestion before falling asleep. You might want to ask for a dream that can help identify what your under water (or latent) talents might be.

    Sweet Dreams!
