Minorities & Benefits

It seems everyday I hear about equal opportunity, race-based scholarships, and special benefits for minority groups. What's your take? Have we gone too far with being politically correct? Is it reverse discrimination or is it compensation/restitution for past wrongs? I'm eager to hear what you guys think...

  • PC has gone way too far

I am white. I don't see it as a blessing or a curse. it's simply a part of what makes me- me. I don't expect any special treatment for it, but i damn sure don't want to be excluded because of it.

But I am. there are scolarships, job opportunities, and other benefits that are set up for just about any other race-group EXCEPT whites, and if you even suggest starting one up for white people, liberal slackovists get all in your face saying, "you can't do that! It's RACIST!" (how they LOVE slinging THAT word around).

It's hypocrisy, and double standards. That's what it is. there's BLACK HISTORY MONTH, and LATINO HISTORY MONTH,, and ASIAN HISTORY MONTH, but if you even mention WHITE HISTORY MONTH, all the liberal ass-kissers cry out "RACISM!" and throw tantrums like five-year-olds.

one day, it's going to all blow up in their faces. White people are going to ignore all the guilt-trips, and "racist" labels, and stand up for their fair share, and you watch all the liberals tuck tail and run when we drop the big one on them. then you'll see those phony pharisees of liberalism change their stories and start saying how they "always felt that the white man was getting a raw deal, and they were always on his side". two- faced bastards.

There are scholarships for EVERYTHING. If someone wanted to start a private scholarship for whites only they could, yeah people would probably call them racist, but who the hell cares? A minority still has less of a chance of getting a job than a white male, that's why we have affirmative action. Stop whining and try to work for your own scholarship and for your own job, if you truly deserve it no minority will take it away from you.

Oh, and hating whites is still discrimination, not "reverse discrimination". Reverse discrimination would be the opposite of discriminating. And affirmative action is not a way to repay past wrongs, it's a way to ensure that all people get a fair shot.

there is an unfair advantage for the minority group because they are a minority. they have more chances for scholarships and get more help from the government. in the same aspect their greatest advantage is their greatest disadvantage simply because it is so well known. the fact that a person is black or asian or latino is hard to hide and people take that, what they know to be different, and use it against them to belittle them and make themselves feel better.

I think the scholarships were put there to build the race and the women up to what the white men had and could have to inspire them to become what only white males could be for long time. Well now time has passed we are all the same with the same chances of that dream we want well its time to redo the scholarships to the current life where everyone can be what they want. Its just since they still there white males have to work harder then the rest.
