God cries?

Does God cry with us? If He knows we're experiencing hurt or pain and He wants the best for us, wouldn't He be upset with us? But since He is omniscient, wouldn't He know what would happen in the end, and know that the hurt we're experiencing at that time is meaningless?

God hurts along with us as we hurt. It's kind of like this. Imagine you have a young child and he becomes very ill. The doctor says there is no doubt your child will make a full recovery, but in order for that to happen he is going to need surgery and some painful physical therepy afterwards. As your young child cries for fear f the surgery, you cry too because he is to young to understand fully what is going to happen. After the surgery and throughout the physical therepy, you would cry with your child, even though you know it will make him stronger and be better for him later on. You try to explain this to him, and he seems to understand until he has to go through the pain again. But, after it's all over with and your child has made a full recovery, your child now sees why he had to go through all of that and you both rejoice together. That's sort of how it works with us and God. God doesn't wish us pain, but we must go through it sometimes so we can come out stronger in the end. He gives us trials and tribulations out of love, and the more we can keep that in our minds without questioning it, the better outlook we will have on life.
