Read the poem on my Allpoetry site titled "Abstruse Reflection Breeds Change of a Mind", this is a deeper understanding or perspective I have come to one the subject. http://allpoetry.com/Poem/1741068

  • The Philosophy of Dynamic Thinking

Thank you very much for all your comments, I am so excited you all enjoyed it so much! I was introduced to the idea of a paradigm slowly, and then suddenly was immersed in it by the book titled; What The Bleep Do We Know? It was written by quantum physicists and some other intellectuals on the subjects of conciousness, reality, matter, the brain and even our very perspective... it is eye opening to say the least and I believe represents a window into the future, into the new paradigm our society is careening towards.

Also, this topic was very eye opening to me... I was presented with something that I had not put much thought into before, and now I have come to an uncomfortable conclusion - that we should be reflecting like this constantly, not just once a year. As you age you become to rely on certain assumptions about reality which may or may not be true, and it is impossible (in an infinite universe) to have all those assumptions be true. Over time science progresses and we understand more about reality... then it is left up to society to digest that information, and we do so by reflecting on how we have lived our lives and then comparing this to new information... so if we only reflect once a year and we are never searching for new information then our cells become addicted to the experience we are experiencing daily, because those feelings we constantly put ourselves through are actually chemicals released from our hypothalemous in our brains and into our blood stream. Each cell is covered with receptor cites which are activated by these chemicals and if a certain receptor site is never used then it shrivels up and the other receptor sites get bigger... and thus we become addicted to certain feelings and chemicals and it becomes harder and harder to change the way we live... once this potential difference becomes too lage then we often go through a period of emotional and metnal distress where our bodies force us to reflect on our lives and to search for a meaning and a purpose - to search for a change... or we die, go insane, become a recluse, we hold onto our past.
