i personally think that one should consider what a statement like this means. if you are going to say that men lie, make sure you mean ONE man not the entire gender. i could say that women love shoes, and spend men's money all the time and never drive well. i'm a male and i have lied but it is not because of my gender. Rather because i'm human. until it is proven that women are genetically honest then there will be no reason for either sex to feel the other is less honest.

it's not a matter of men lying; it's the fact that people lie in different ways. some guys will outright lie, others won't. but it's more noticeable or categorical when guys do it, because (some) girls use MANY different forms of deceit that aren't necessarily labeled as a lie. for example, a lot of girls test guys to see what they can get out of them, and that's all that they have a use for for that guy. girls are just more manipulative and crafty than guys, but it's all still lying and deceit.

You are trying to make it sound like women are better than man. In many cases, women do lie a LOT more than men. Man: What did you do today? Women: [Innocently] Oh, nothing. * Thinks about how she is screwing her boss for a raise. *

Or more to the point, maybe men lie because women talk too much. "Were you listening?" "Huh, what? Oh, yeah!" Hmmm?

I believe they do this because they feel insecure about themselves. The ones who do it, ofcourse, which is like 99% of males. I believe they feel like they need to lie and or trick a female to make themselves feel like a man. To make there attitude look bigger and that they can treat anyone the way that they want to, which of course isn't the case. It gets better with age, normally, I think. But I think males like to be able to get what they want from a female then to just 'throw her' away... As I say not ALL males but a majority.

Not all men do lie and i know some men who hate it when women say ALL men lie. Not all do. Women are no better than men are. We both lie and we all have our reasons,they may not be good ones but we all have them. Maybe we women lead some men in to lieing b/c we can be stuborn sometimes and i know we can and i apolozies to men. Well to make this easier to say and short Men lie b/c Women lie....

I dont think it really has to do with your sex, but rather then your decision-making process. Why lie? People who do things wrong would do well to admit to them quickly, get it done with and move on with their life. Women also lie, but from my experience, they usually lie in a nonverbal manner. Some seem to effortlessly fake an entire relationship and lead a man on, then never talk to him again. I'm sure men have done this too, so it has nothing to do with their sex, but their own choice.

I say men and women are the same. Men are just pointed out more than women ...because women are better at it..and use the "Why do men lie" act to be even more manipulative. We are all stupid and hurtful...and there is no way around it. I say get over it.

Honestly, The term equality holds no bearing in feministic views, (there defense: nor in society)what im trying to say is. Men & women lie, because men's may be more obvious as we arent as manipulative as women, it may seem we do it more frequantly, i dont know. but really, i dont think either party can say they dont manipulate/lie so we are both guilty. Im not going to bother attempting to explain why men lie, the same reasons women do. (mens OR womens lies could be more manipulative either way. . so shut up and vote yay on why i love you)

I don't think men have a problem with lying. Maybe when you drive him away from you constantly, I could see how he would cheat, but that's not lying, it's breaking a promise. It's women that lead a false life...
