An absolute truth is defined as something that is flawless, something that will always be true no matter what. Is it possible to have such a thing, and if so, it would bring this world closer to finding world peace because if we discovered an absolute truth, something everyone agreed was true, people would be more likely to get along because everyone would have something they agreed on. So if you believe there is an absolute truth, what do you think it is?

Under that notion, I can believe that grass is red, but someone else may think that it is green. We are, at the surface, both right. I can say whatever I want and it be totally true _to me_. And that is the catch. It goes by each man's definition. But that is unrealible. Going back to my example, how can we believe something different about the same thing? One of us has to be right, or we are both wrong. This must be true because the subject in question does change as I observe it of the other person observes it. So there must be a truth underneath it all.

I think that there is an absolute truth, but instead of looking at things that will always be true, we should focus more on the things that will always be false, for example the sky is not blue, and no matter what this will always be true. Therefore, the false facts(sorry for the contridiction) are more truthful than facts themselves

I believe absolute truth is based on religion. You can't have absolute truth without it. But it does exist.

Not really serious or anything, but I think most people agree that it hurts your eyes when you stare straight at the sun for a couple hours.

The absolute truth is that truth is a lie. Everyone's own perspective reality is different than everyone else's. Conversely, every lie is, in essence, truth, as projection of self through manipulation of self-image, defining insecurities through compensation in regard to outwardly perceived image. Effectively, we are artists sharing a three-dimensional canvas that we all view differently. Try seeing the beauty and horror in every little thing from every possible angle. I liken this view to God's own. Of course, the question, posed so simply, could be viewed in an infinite number of ways, and infinite answers could be created for every individual perception, but I decided to use generalities to give a cryptic answer for a nonspecific, open-ended question.

Just stop searching, for it is right infront of your eyes, perhaps, the details might be different for each individual, however, in the end, it is the same

First of all...the main point of your question isn't really sensible. If (and I say there is) an absolute truth, it is absolute whether or not everyone agrees to it. That is what makes it absolute.
Also, I would have to say that an absolute truth would not necessarily bring the world closer to peace...in fact, most likely it would simply cause more wars and violence. Especially since most of humanity is not willing to listen to truth unless it agrees with their pre-concieved notion of what truth is.
As for me, I know the absolute truth of the universe. And so do many here. But most of us are simply denying it. It is for you to follow that truth...once it is obeyed, it will change you.
