Abstract theories explain how uncertain things work where the function isn't simply plain, yet sometimes a conclusion from given premises may produce a true result yet for just coincidental reasons.
Intelligent design theory is just a tool to discover if anything has been designed by an intelligent being, at any place or time, perhaps even by mankind?

No, it is not even a theory. And just read your first paragraph - Abstract hypothesis try to explain uncertain things (not theories, and so what ? Until discovered everything in not uncertain) and if the conclusions give true results by conincidental reasons the hypothesis is wrong , not right. And the premisses may produce a true resulted when tested - ID can not be tested that is why is not science.
