When we are in love it is called being "shot with Cupids arrow". I firmly believe that this is the case because with the exception of heart-break, love is the single most painful thing in the world.

Ah, true love. Such a beautiful and horrible thing.
Love is feeling that flutter in your being at the mere thought of that special one. Love is knowing that you would lay down and die for them. Love is knowing that they will die for you. Love is hurting everytime you are apart. Love is.... so hard to explain. True love between woman and man is hard to achieve. I believe that there is true love (not lustful love) between mother and child. And that there is one true love out there for everyone (think 'soul mate') But you'll never, no matter what I write here, understand what it's like, until you experience it.
Sure, every love feels real in the beginning, but I implore you, wait it out, see if it's real. It's too easy to get caught up in lustful luxiories (not just sex, just holding hands per say), and are not annalyzing what is going on.
I know that makes no sense, but it's all true.

well i think that love is one of the hardest things to explain. also i think it depends on how strong the emotion is.
sometimes to you have to be hurt by love to feel love. its the strangest thing i know but its true. its like you wouldnt know what hate is if there is no love and vesa versa.
but i think true love is when you feel so alive that you just want to shout it out to the world. the butterflies in stomache everytime the person comes near,even if youve known them for a while.the feeling of being complete.The feeling that you cant live with out that peson in your life, the one that makes you feels complete,happy,cared for,safe,special and maybe things that yet you do not know of because you have not been in love. the way they look at you, the feelings that go through your whole body and mind its like a buzz that never goes.
It really is a wonderful thing. i know i have still things to learn and my destiny will take control of that.i really believe that no matter what,you will find some one that you will never want to let go of. Because i think that there really is one person for everyone and its just we have to find them. true love is something you feel thats why it is hard to explain.but the problem with love is that it can make you blind. -

Ahhh...Your feeling of wanting to pour out to him. To SURRENDER to Him. The Mighty Hand of God is with you and you wonder how it was possible to not to feel this way. Practically there is no definiton to me. Love is a flexible subject. Are you meaning True love? The one and only, meant for you, soul mate kind of thing. Well let me tell you.... If you want to know how you know you've found your soul mate. You will just know. To put it simply thats the honest truth. Its not just that the person makes you feel good and has a special shine to them than others. It's even beyond that. He/she would be different beyond explaination. You would be able to tell that you were meant for one another. In the way they walk, the look in your eyes that are only for you, the way they change from looking lost and normal, to looking so out of it, so amazingly different from everyone else. This is a hard thing to come by. Destiny never stops trying, I believe that. I believe many things though. Prehaps some people dont even have a soul mate. But you will know what love is, and when you fall into it. There are first loves, and just people you end up falling for. But sometimes there is one..beyond them all that you do more than just fall for. Love is undefined, its an emotion. You'll know what love is like when you find it.

love is like a fresh breath of air. You try to take it in as much as possible. without love i feel like sometimes i can barely breath. but whenever i experience love its like seeing a rainbow full of vivid colors.March 3, 2007

Love is just beautiful. One day it can leave you ripped apart and the next it can leave you mesmerized. When I feel the love I have for my spouse it hurts my heart. When I look in his eyes and he holds me I feel a pain like I can't breathe and I can't explain it. It's litarally the phrase "I love him so much it hurts!".Please register or login to comment!
