brooding bastardVoted for by saints and martyrs.
"Cognito ergo sum",I think therefor I am translated from the words written in latin by a french monk...As my insomnia worsens I begin to think of things like this.Basically it means(for all you people who prefer not to think) if I think I am something for long then I am that thing.Another thing I've been reflecting on is the chaos theory,"the flutter of the wings of a butterfly can cause a typhoon half-way around the world"paraphrased of course but the same meaning: One seemingly trivial thing can cause a series of events that leads to devistation.Of course this theory is very pessimistic but if you think about it it is all truth and hardly just a fortune-cookie like phrase. Say that a girl is molested by her uncle at age 4, she inevitably becomes a lesbian because she comes to fear the touch of a man.She puts herself where she feels comfortable. That isnt a very good example of trivial to devastation but you get the idea.Speaking of feeling comfortable I have come to find that rational human biengs always choose the safest route, but when you fear something and become cautious of it you invite the thing you fear. Now on to my favorite pessimistic quote:'reality bites with a variety of sizes of teeth' basically no matter what your reality may hold for you there is always a fantasy you have.Reality bites down hard on you when you realize it will never happen, but if it does this quote is wrong up until the point were you loose the magic of life were there is no adventure no impulsive anything. When your life seems to be controlled.Keep in mind I saiid seems to be because you are in no controll of what happens in your life that occurs after you make the descisions you do.For after your choice is made you wind down a veering path of uncertainty......... Chaos is inside everything you see and every choice you make.Every word you say every breath you take and every moment in time holds the uncertainty of inevitable, irrational chaos. If you have read this and had to think, then my goal was achieved, but if you didnt think and only read then only two things come to my\ind of what you should do:1.)either your smart and we should callaberate on some things and ideas and write a book about what I have descussed and what we might discuss or 2.)You need to READ this over again and THINK about every little word that has been put together in a strain called a sentence that have been formed together to create the paragraphs in this blog and actually put your fucking mind to work you waste of matter.
Sincerely, The one and only aborted disgrace -
Reason and PurposeVoted for by A Dreamer Awake.
I think therefore I am - In some simple occassions you can create yourself into someone else by thinking you are that way. Ex: I can act in a play and not forget my lines. If I think over that and my lines enough, then it is far less likely that I will forget my lines. However, this wouldn't work always, obviously, and if you were to take this expression as I exist because I think. You exist because you are. Existance is definition. People going on about maybe the world isn't real, really get on my nerves. This is real. Maybe our reality has many features we don't yet know, or there are things we don't see about our world, however it is real, by definition.
Chaos theory: Everything happens for a reason. Chaos doesn't dwell waiting to unleash itself from a butterfly flapping a wing. Everything has purpose and does what it does because of what it is. Chaos dows not wait to pounce on us from inside of all we see. This is a very irrational conclusion to assumed that chaos is inside everything. What do we even know about chaos anyway? Complete and total disorder? What can we compare: a tidal wave. If there truly was chaos lurking in everything, then it would certainly have more of an impact than troubling large bodies of saltwater.
About control in our lives. We have free will. We do what we do because of who we are. Who we are can be explained, and so what. I am a female human being, but I am still writing this because of who I am and because that make me want to do this. If I suddenly learn how I tick, it won't change a thing. There is reason and process behind all of our doings, not random chaos.
This chaos theory sounds more like someone believing in what they fear most to come to pass. Intriguing that everything would be in such disaray, but in all honesty, it is the nature of things to look for stability and order. Look up some basic science.
Yelled at you long enough, please read this, and reply. Thanks for your time, A Dreamer Awake.

"the flutter of the wings of a butterfly can cause a typhoon half-way around the world"
no where in the millions of interuptations of this quote will you find that it explains to reason or justify the acts of molestation towards young girls by their family and her growing to be a lesbian. first, a girl does not turn lesbian necessarily. yes, she may fear men and lose trust for them but that does not totally disqualify them from an abused girl's life. whether or not they are lesbians is dependent on whether they feel they can take the risk of trusting a man again. after an occurance like that, its often impossible for a young girl to be comfortable anywhere and is usually afflicted with a depressive illness or an abnormal self-hatred. if that pointwere true, then wouldnt a young boy being molested by an uncle lead to his becoming a gay man? no, that is a rare occurence. sexuality is attraction based on reaction. memories are eventually ovecome. humans will not always choose a safe route. this is how some deaths and accidents occur. a lack of human common sense. humans are programmed to follow trends and flows. a mass group of people will sacrafice identity and join a crowd gaining mob mentality and forming a society. the need to fit in to public view of perfection and normality is a common pattern. we call it logic. a form of thinking in which if enough people do it then the action must be correct. humans by nature will follow logic, not safety. if a million people jumped off of a bridge a million more people would follow because of the massive participation by their peers. its not safe but its whtt is being done and "trendy" so people will follow. rationality, as beautiful an ideal as it is, is out. fear is a natural response. if a person isnt afraid of spiders then seeing one doesnt get the same response as a person who does fear them. yetif you place a spider on the skin of the person who isnt afraid of spiders without them knowing it and they feel it crawling on them, the fact that something unknown is on them scares them in turn getting the same response as the person who is afraid of spiders. fear spawns from the unknown and therefore cannot come from rationality. rationality and logic are things that are known and see in groups and statistics.
fantasy is a biproduct of reality. humans are never satisfied with what they have so they strive for more. when these yearnings are not met fantasy is born. an alternate life where everything your greedy little deviant mind can conjour is granted to you on a silver platter. life from the begining has no magic in it as it is just blank canvas. we have to create something of ourselves to give that white space color. therefore, if reality bites and generally sucks for you, its your own fault and no one wants to hear your bitching about how you lost that girl to your bestfriend who tapes his glasses toegther. reality ties into darwinism where we evolve and in turn the strong prevail. if you arent strong or smart enough to make your life worth something to yourself then its your problem. fantasy wont get you anywhere in reality, thats why its not a true part of reality. the worst thing is to live a controlled life and to know that you live a controlled life. to become predictable is to sell your soul and personality to a coporate empire. suit and tie suffocating quick. if its known that reality and life is a routine, then why not do something about it? its astonishing as to how many people will complain the world has wronged them when the "reality" of the matter is that instead of complaining everyone can be going out and doing something about it.
to say that you have no control of what happens in your life after you make the decisions is a contradiction. apparently you do control what happens. actions and occurances dont just appear. they are in cosequence to your decisions. you fully make them, on your own, to choose what does happen in your future. a high school grad picks a college they wish to attend to major in art. this choice is made fully aware that this will boost his career in art in turn bettering his life in some aspects. this is a choice made with the power to provide insight to your future that you have controlled.
unknowing doesnt necessarily mean chaos. there cant be chaos inside of everything. its not possible. perhaps youve mistake something to be chaos, uncertainty maybe. fear. possibility. chance. chaos is created. yet another biproduct of reality and the choices that are made. like for instance your post. you have posted this arguement/opinion to do one of 3 things: inform, disrupt, provoke. posting this (inform), you have chosen to do so knowing that you will get response (disrupt) and have people think (provoke). in doing such, there is sure to be a clash of opinions by another. you have created chaos. the reality being the your thought and post the chaos being the reaction. you chose to do this. reality of thought+knowing choice to post+reaction= chaos. however, if you had decided to just look at the screen and hadnt posted this arguement then there wouild be no exposed reality of thought nor the choice to post nor a reaction. there would be no chaos. chaos is not sitting in your computer screen or that blank spot on the site (if you hadnt posted).
chaos is a product of a choice made knowing consequence based from fantasy which is spawned by reality. it does not lay dorment in things waiting to be provoked.

okay
you have your oppinions and I have my views as well, when I wrote this philosophy I was heavily influenced by having just seen the butterfly effect.and I was a littled bit well you know where Im going with this Also I dont not simply believe choas waits in everything but that one thing you do can cause a set of chain reactions you control your life by the choices you make. The chaos theory is cause and effect with a small reactant and a large product over time. Also science to me has nothing to do with philosophy except that science proves whats fact and whats fiction, and since when did people need their philosophies proven to be true, if you believe it to be true whats to say it isn't thats like me arguing that god isnt real with a christian they always try to come up with reasons to why they're right and Im going to hell, which in turn contridicts their own religion.......this is a bit off topic but Im starting a topic on if gods real in a second show your beliefs....February 4, 2006
