I have heard many ways discussed on random sites of how to tell someone exactly how you feel about them. But after a while the truth is lost in all the hype and cliche's. What is really the best way (in your opinion) of how to tell someone that you like, or even love, them?

Love goes with acceptance and respect. To show you love someone, you have to like their whole person. It requires work and sacrifice, a compromise of schedules, and sometimes doing stuff (going to a hockey game or the mall, for example) you don't necessarily want to do. To respect someone means respecting their values and morals and not trying to overrule them. And a little bit of spontenaity always says a bunch =) Basically, it's not necessarily about words but about proof.

I'd say there is no best way! No matter what it would be nerve wracking to no end. Maybe getting the both of you drunk or something...

But all in all just come right out and be honest--assuming you can handle any possible response. Just remember that holding it in and letting your feelings build up will only make a rejection harder in the longrun.

The best way to tell someone how you feel is to wait for a moment when you are having an open conversation and feeling a closeness then simply tell them. You may never know how they feel unless you tell them of your feelings for them. If you do not speak up you may find that you lose out to someone else who will be open with them about their feelings.

Go with what feels right. That's the best way, the only right way. It shouldn't be what someone else tells you, but what you feel is right, inside...
