how often do you see straight people making out in public? all the time. how often do you see a gay couple making out in public? almost never. also, whenever there is a love story on tv, who is it about? heterosexuals. when a romance/comedy-romance movie comes out, who is it about? heterosexuals. and if you've ever seen any music video or heard the majority of the songs out there....omg.....like "my humps" and "candy shop" and others like them are just heterosexuals flaunting their own lusty sexual feelings. when do you ever see gays do that? so who cares if gay people have pride parades every once in a while, that's not flaunting in comparison with what straight people do.

maybe it is because they want to know what it feels like to be accepted. do you know what it feels like to have a solid place to stand? not to mention most people dont actually stand around saying IM GAY IM GAY IM GAY, most of them just try to live a quite life where people like you wont get in their faces and drag them down all the time.
i'm also guessing you really dont have a problem with people calling you a dike or a fag so you wouldnt really know how it really distroys your day. expecially when you usually have crappy days anyways.

You want to be able to kiss your girlfriend in public, brag to your friends about your amazing sex, show everyone how hot your girlfriend is... How often after a party do you talk about(or have you talked about) The sexy chicks that you just saw. The drunk person you just had sex with. So it is fine for us straights to talk about it but when homosexuals wanna talk about it then it isn't. And I don't know where you are coming from because personally, I see a lot more homosexual females tahn I do males. Why do persons who choose an alternative life style feel they have to advertise? Not all do... However it may be because they are like the human beings which do like to advertise. Just because they have a different sexual prefernece, does not exclude them from the human race. The same as if someone wears a differnt style of hair or dresses differently. I see flaunting, flirting and down right adversting in both straight and non straight people. It happens all the time in bars and discos there are a lot of people strutting their stuff. If that is not enough there are clubs called adult clubs they seem to be still alive and kicking. Heterosexuality is very much alive and well ingrained into society. Just take a marriage can that not be considered a celebration of joining two people in a heterosexual relationship. Well flaunted with public announcements, reception parties, flying bouquets of flowers, confetti and what is it about the garder belt. The clinking of spoons a call to have the groom and bride stand and kiss. Heterosexuality is flaunted in advertising, movies, books, music need I go on....I do not care if alternative lifestyles get their rightful piece of the pie there is plenty for all.

the main beef I have is all the favoritism. I read on tonguetied.com how Seattle police are being told to bust up straight couples who flagrantly display their affections, but leave the gay and lez couples alone because they might feel "offended". I'm of the mind that the law is the law for everybody, not just for those whom liberals dislike. If it's against the law for me to make out with my sugnificant other in public, why should it be acceptable for some gay guy to do it?
i'm taking suggestions for a "straight pride" flag, and a symbol for heterosexuality. if you have any ideas. message me.

I don't want to know that you're straight but I'm pretty sure your cues would let me know right away that you are. You weren't discriminated against for being heterosexual so there isn't any need for you to be particularly proud of being what you are in spite of all the shit that comes with it. Being gay has been made a nightmare in the past, and I for one am proud for every single homosexual out there, I'm proud that you've been who you are even though your lives were made incredibly difficult. If you are Gay and happy with it then good for you, but currently it seems every time i turn on the TV there is some mincing ponce being' Ultra Queer'. I'm not anti- gay but i am sick and tired of hearing about them, it has suddenly become very PC to have the obligatory Gay on TV, just as it was at one time PC to have the obligatory coloured person on TV. It's all a matter of quota's, we could all see when there was a coloured person on TV, trouble is your average Gay is like you or I, quite normal, so they have to bring on the camp bloke to prance around and squeal like a girl so that it is obvious they have fullfilled their requirements. Still i suppose it's like platform shoes, they'll go out of fashion soon! and then normal couples of whatever sex can get on with their lives quietly!
