It seems that no one wants to be who they really are. Plastic personalities... sigh.

Did someone poke your bubble today?100% Voted for by IridescentRose, mynameishoneybee.
How many excuses must the human race make for themselves in order to compensate for not exploring the outer barriers of their comfort zone? Make a new friend. Talk to someone you would never consider usually be on speaking terms with. The saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" isn't in effect these days. Just imagining what it's like to be on the other side of the situation doesn't even begin to make up for what the people of today lack; hospitality. Generosity. I never believed that going out of your way to be nice to someone who is considered a level down on the social level was ever a bad thing. And if it is, I still have yet to see the results of my actions. So, in short, do something nice for someone today. Or tomorrow. Or even next week. Just do it soon, because who knows how much you are touching those who are just waiting for a single acknowledgement that they too exist in this world. And you never know, you just might find someone whom you will discover has the potential to be a real friend.

I am giving you a hug across the Information Superhighway. It is a firm, oped-armed, chest-pressing-against-chest hug, complete with a rubbing of the back and a final, gentle sqeeze at the end. I then look into your eyes and say the words, "I love you", and mean them with all my heart, mind, soul and spirit. I hope this isn't too forward, but somehow I don't think this would be unappreciated by you.February 12, 2006
