Keeping other people's

When someone tells you a secret, do you have a right to discuss it with people who are not connected to the person?

  • No.

If you can't keep the secret then don't let them tell you it in the first place. No, you dont have the right.

  • Depends

It would be best if you kept it anonymous, and even better if you just kept it secret in general if you promised to do so. But sometimes if you're unsure of how to handle the secret or feel you should help this person out somehow but don't know how, getting other people's input is a good thing.

If you're doing it just to gossip, well...Just make sure there's no way of connecting the identity of the person you're gossiping about. Even throw in something to throw them off more.
