I, personally am not gay but I see know reason why they should be shunned or be and object of disgust because of theier sexual preference, it's not sex that makes a person who they are. Homosexuality is not a diesese and it's not contagious and certainlyy not bad. Contrary to what may be considered a sterotype, gay people are not all about sex, it is also not the only thing they are. Also remember that disgusting is a point of view, often distorted by our view of what is "normal" I also don't see why a man and a man or woman and woman who love each other should not be allowed to get married, it's not hurting anyone and it's none of our buisness.

We do not need another stupid debate with crazies condemning people they know nothing about just because they sleep with people of the same sex. Who cares who people sleep with? It's up to them. Shove the bible where the sun don't shine.

I'm actually not one of those "GAY MARRIAGE ROCKS!" kinda lesbians/bisexuals/whatever, but I think some people are too uptight about gay marriages. Like Peter said from Family Guy: "If gays wanna get married and be miserable like the rest of us, let 'em." A statement profoundly said by a 2-dimensional character.
I think that the media focuses too much on what one genre of people do, than the rest of America. We have high crime rates and serial killers on the loose, and America spans their attention towards gay marriages.... but they're not solving a darn thing. -

the same thing that is wrong with us all, I suppose. We are all sinful, selfish and evil. Gays and lesbians are no exceptions. As for their choice in sexual preference and its rightness/wrongness.....that is another argument entirely.

Everyone is different. No one should be discriminated for that. If you erase prejudice, you erase hate. And for the christians - the bible says you shouldn't judge. That doesn't mean you must agree with GBLT relationships, it just means that you shouldn't treat them any different than anyone else. And I'm not saying that every Christian person judges, either. That was just for those who have. For anyone who has ever been discriminated for anything (gender, race, subculture, ect.) : It's the same for descrimination against GLBT. It all hurts. It's all unfair.

But why is it wrong? What makes it so wrong for two people of the opposite sex to love eachother? Because God says it's wrong? Is this the same God that teached that you should be tolerant of other people no matter what, or is that some different God? I am Catholic, and everyone knows that we are famous for being against homosexuality, but I truly do NOT undertsand the huge issue with it. Yes, I realize that God made Adam and Eave, not Steve, but God makes you the way you are, and therefore He had to make you homosexual, am I right? If God didn't approve, then He would not have even given humans the option to chose loving the same sex. And it is love, deeper than a lot of people have now days anways. If you are allowed to go get drunk and married in Vegas as man and woman, people of the same gender should be able to have the same right! If it disgusts you, don't fucking watch. Yes, everyone has their own opinions, but that doesn't always mean that they have to be law.October 10, 2007
