There are many influences in our lives which contribute to our development. One is our Family another is Society. In our early years the family plays a large role in the development of our charcater and beliefs. In later years Society and our peers seems to increase it's role. Does one have a greater influence than the other in our development, or are both components equivalent in our development.

both society and family has a specific role in one's life. family prepares a person to function within society; society can (but not necesarily) define and/or mold the family. the two are dependent on one another to function.
