perfect religion in my opinion is just plain and simply believing there is a God. All these organized religions around the world say they have the one and true religion. Every single one of them say they do. Which one am i suppose to believe? What set of instructions am i to follow to get into heaven? I dont know about you but i won't fall for one of these "earthly" organized religions unless God himself spoke to you and told you one of them was actually true. So far God has not told me that any single organized religion on this earth is true so i shall continue to follow the beliefs i created in my head and modify them when i see fit.

But why do i still believe there is a God even though i think organized religions of the earth are bogus? Well let me ask you this...
Who is more of a fool, someone who thinks everything just happend to originate out of nothing or someone who believes everything originated from God?

  • So I Wouldn't Say I'm Misguided...
Here's the thing, I was brought up as Dutch Reformed, which is a casual little religion, no different than what they teach to Catholics, just less strict. Anyway, I always enjoyed church (mostly) and the environent it provided. I began questioning, naturally, the whole God Created the Universe/Evolution, Big Bang stuff... and I realize I believed Evolution.

I still haven't come to grips with abandoning "God" completely yet. I still pray once in a while, it's just nice to "know" I have someone to talk to. And my deceased relatives, ancestors, they aren't in a Heaven if I believe there's no God. And most of all, if there is no God, then my family, my own mother even, have all been blindly believing a myth.

    How unfortunate would that be.

So I wouldn't say I'm misguided, I just have too many damn forks in the road.

  • To much death

Is that peoples attitudes are lost and misguided to their own mental destruction followed by physical a spiralling out of conrtrol into suicide. Mentally people are going crazy because of their own fanyasy.

  • Philosophers Study Reality
Reality can be confusing to many people, in fact all except for God fall far short of omniscience.

It is unfair to use an anthropomorphic reference such that reality 'misguides' the soul such as they might be deceived by some sort of demonic trickster. While wicked spiritual beings or wicked sentient wills may perpetrate 'misguiding', reality for-itself is probably true as true, and God does not deceive. In the book of Genesis he did stipulate in Chapter 3 that he'd correct the fallen Adamas and Edith and transition them out of the perfect Garden of Edith and into a Universe with more hurt to limit their awakening to the difference between good and evil. The evil is in self-willed misguided spirits and not in reality-for-itself.

It is something of a terror to use the label 'mental illness' to make a corrupt ad hominem attack on religious beliefs. Stalin and other fascist or state terrorist dictators happily use/used such generic condemnations to help putsch through their own undemocratic political goals.

It is an unfortunate conceit of some that are atheists that ignorance and disbelief in a perfect omnipotent supreme being is a necessary condition for health humans. Such humanity would be a homo loquax Curly Mo and Larry sort of humanity perhaps given to too much wine and strumming of chords in happy worldliness forever.

Yet God or The One is the perfect and logical emanator of all reality and spirit even if it is downloaded through an intermediary Intelligence and a world of forms. Jesus Christ is the only way to renormalize unto the absolute perfectly transcendent creator of all that appears to exist.

Good luck in finding your way out of the land of the forever lost atheists.
