why do we love to love? Even though for the most part we get our hearts comletely broken and bent, what is it that makes it all worth sacrificing so much for, why is love worth going for broke for?

Love to me is finding something that is worth going 100% for broke for. It's about taking that shot even though you're scared as hell! Love is only as amazing as it is because having your heart completely broken is as gut-wrenchingly painful as it is. Knowing who you truly are and finding the person who gets that and invests themselves in you regardless of your flaws, who doesn't think they're really flaws at all, that is priceless. I don't believe any of us can find that kind of unmistakable love without risking the things that make us feel safe. I can't handle the thought of missing some kind of once off chance because i'm too scared or the odds are stacked against me, that's real tragedy. The things that are the scariest to overcome, that are the hardest to fight yourself for, those are the things that we should never lose sight of. And even if you lose a lot along the way, standing up for something as incredible as love, you'll still be one step closer than you were before you went for it. I can't tell you exactly which things in life are worth absolutely going for because I would be lying if I said i was certain, but I can tell you that love is worth more than anything we can comprehend. Love is the reason any of us get up after having our hearts broken. Because nothing in life is set in stone, nothing is for certain, but the knowledge of the emotion we call love is something that each of us comes into the world possessing. Some things only come around once in life, no second chances, don't ever let the one thing that you dont go for be love. The only thing worse than knowing that you lacked the courage to pursue the possibility of real love, is never knowing that you missed it in the first place.

SO TRUE! You have to fight for love. if you dont fight for what you want then there is nothing. When your in a relationship you both have to put forth an effort if you want to make it work. If you dont then its not true its nothing. So I completely agree that Love is A Battlefeild 100 percent

Love is merely a chemical reaction. It is just a release of certain hormones. You will fall for someone over and over again, but the best ay to fall OUT of love, is to tell yourself it's just science. Love is worth it. Even if it's not really just an emotion, the temporary thrill overcomes the "pain" you feel afterwards.

is something worth your time. the only reason we think of it as a battle field is because we usually get confused or just go after the wrong thing. the problem is that what most ppl call love is really and truely only a like. and so we treat a like as if it was love. and thats where the pain comes from. but it is a battle. once you find that real love the battle is to keep it. it is a lot harder to keep love than to find love. cause for that all you need is some reasonably accepting ppl. but to make it last you need to truely give it all. the problem is that for it to work both parties need to give it there everything. so in that sense, we are almost always fighting a loosing battle... giving our all while the other gives halfheartedky, if that.
