Hell is the kingdom of Satan, right? And Satan is supposed to be the anti-Christ. Yet, Satan devotes his kingdom to punishing sinners. Wouldn't he want to reward sinners and punish Christians?

Although Satan is not technically the Anti-Christ, good point. If Lucifer was banished from Heaven for disagreeing with God, then surely he’d reward those who God decides are sinners. Maybe Hell is actually where those who follow Satan are rewarded. Or maybe it doesn’t exist at all. It’s just used as a threat by the Church.

Did God not create Hell?18% Voted for by justonewish, looking4realtruth, Makessenseright.
Hell was created by God as a place for Lucifer and his followers to be punished – not for Lucifer to rule over. Lucifer also suffers in Hell, along with all sinners who have not repented and taken God into their hearts, Lucifer just suffers.. more.
But even if somewhere in some religious text it says that Lucifer reigns over Hell he still suffers, and being the evil being that he is.. he would want others to suffer just like he does.
The first paragraph is my understanding of Hell and Lucifer from religious friends that I have. If it is incorrect, then someone who actually KNOWS the FACTS should definitely correct me.. But it seems accurate.

Well, one can debate all day as to what goes on in hell. But one thing is for certain and that is that hell is a very unpleasent place. I doubt if Satan or anyone else will enjoy it, though I hear the rates are cheap for getting there this time of year. Of course the rates into heaven are even less since Jesus picked up the tab and all.

you are absolutely correct. satan (if he is the anti-christ) should reward the sinners yet he seems to punish them in every evil story you here. in my opinion satan is yet another creation of god’s (obviously) and god created him to terrify all the sinners into being good people.

Lutheran View vs. Catholic ViewVoted for by nihilismisdead.
Catholic, not Christian. The Lutherans have a nice way of viewing death. In their description no one goes to hell because God “pays” for your sins and lets you into heaven.

You’re taking the aspect of Hell from the christian point of view..which obviously is a tainted description, since they’re so against Lucifer… which is bull because they should be thanking Him because without Him.. they’re lil religion would die!!! Ave Satanas!

I believe in God and Lucifer. The only one who seems to know satans goals is the satanic worshipper, BUC! Hell is many leveled and NOBODY is in Hell yet!!!!!! Satan has NEVER seen hell yet, either! Sheol in Hebrew is the first level of hell. It means, “side of the pit” or “absence of God”.

Christians Believe Hell is the absence of God and multi-leveled. Those who die the physical death go two places only: belief in Christ is a one way ticket to Heaven, belief in anything else other than Jesus the Christ takes you to Sheol and you “sleep the sleep” until the day of judgement comes. The day of judgement or “Great white throne judgement”, occurs after the 1000 years of peace. Then those judged go to Hell the second level or bottomless pit. then some time later a second attack from the pit and God then casts satan and those who were tempted the second time, into the lake of Fire for all eternity, the third level of Hell.

Satans main and first goalVoted for by frndofyaweh.
In the beginning, Satan thought he could manage things better than God. He still believes this and his main goal is to disrupt the lives of Gods children and create an army of satan believers. This evil army will fight on his side at armogeddon against the army of angels, believers and Jesus as it’s King and General.

Being Satanic, haveing read the Satanic Bible. I shall say, Satan stands for self being. He represents happyness, loveing life, and respect to those who believe in him. He does not teach stupidity, pain, or hurting others. Most wouldn’t know this because they think they know all about it from the media and what they read in the paper. If you were to read the satanic bible you would see it is centerd around living life to the fullest possible means. He only punishes those who murder or hurt others with no reason behind it. Stupidity is a sin to him, such is hurting children and other beings in any way.

Maybe the reason he has a bad rep is because he isn't who god wanted him to be. (I'm putting all this uber simple just so I don't confuse myself or anyone else). He basically left god, and when you leave someone that powerful, whether they are good or bad, you are going to get a bad rep because you don't piss off the boss man.
Read the His Dark Materials series, you'd appreciate the idea that these books convey.
