Is there really Social Degredation

They say that people have started to lose belief in all of the old fashions and thus, the real way things could be when people actually try and make it that way

  Yes, though people who still are used to the old ways of life (amish) are put aside as "different". wouldnt it be true that they are the best people according to what society's standards of good actually are. What is the reason exactlyto why society started to hear about "social degredation" AND NO OVERLY RELIGIOUS COMMENT. Please respect my request.

    My theory on the reason why everything good in society is becoming increasingly outcasted is that we're being trained to monator eachother, so that pupet masters don't have to worry about it as much. The best way to keep people in a cage is to make them believe they are not in one at all. Therefore, who ever sets the "acceptible" moral boundries has the ability to control everyone without ever having to be noticed. You can see it in society today. The signs are all engraved in the stones that make up the cities you sleep in. A wise man once called this the "Baw-Baw and sheepdog" theory. So, when a sheep hurder (I can't figure out how to spell that!) comes to tend his flock, a few of them will automaticly begin to fallow him. Seeing this more and more sheep begin to fallow, because that's what everyone else is doing too. If a few get left behind the hurder(I'm just going to go with that... I'm pretty sure it's write) sets loose the dogs. society works as both the "shepard" and the dog. On and on...this is long I know. Now, when somebody tells you that somthing you do is wierd or not acceptible by the masses, you will usually stop doing whatever it was that you were doing. This makes who ever made up that rule the "Shepard" and everyone else both the sheep and the sheep dog.
