Let him explore his options, there is a chance he might leave you which is good because it wasn't meant to be anyway or there is a chance that he will find out that he's got the best there is which will solidify the relationship. If you refuse to test the relationship it will not be real but forced and fake.

That's just silly. People are people. What if your boyfriend/girlfriend is bi but now is just exclusive to you? They can't have ANY friends because they CAN be attracted to other genders? What if they've been friends with attractive people for years but it's very platonic--now they have to break things off?
Have a little trust. If it doesn't work out, the person was shit and not looking for what you're looking for anyway. Sucks. Try again.
