Life after death (reincarnation)

Everything dies…do we go to heaven? Do we just hang around in darkness?

  • Reincarnation

I believe that after you die you are born again whether its on this earth or not, this time period or not. All humans and animals have a state of conciousness. What happens...do we just stop everything...how do you stop feeling?

  • yes and no

yes and no. i believe that the knowledge that one learned in a past life released after they die, and that knowledge can be aquired by someone else later on, unintentionally. I have a few opinions, that is just part of one.

  • Hmmm

I am curious about the possibility of reincarnation. I do not rule it out, even though I am Christian and this is contrary to what my church teaches. But I have experienced De ja vu so intensely that I have to think that it must be possible…or something else wierd is going on.

  • Reincarnation

The only way I can think to explain my beliefs here is to use an example, so here goes. Hundreds of years ago there was a prince who fell in love with one of his slaves. Knowing that marriage outside of social class was against the law, they ran away together and grew old together. Years passed and they died. Over time their kingdom was forgotten. Hundreds of years after their death, they are reincarnated, but the roles have been switched. The prince, with his money and royal subjects has now become poor white trash without a friend in the world. The slave girl, poor in her past life with a loving family, has become filthy stinking rich, and her parents died. So…that’s my thoughts. Take it or leave it.

  • well...

i think it is up to what you believe, you believe in heaven and hell you go there you don’t you go where you believe. those who don’t believe in anything just die and nothing happens. i personally think we are reincarnated with our former selves being left as a burnt image upon this world (in other words a roaming spirit) but we have another life to live and we associate with the same people as before and recognize them because our sould recognize them but we do not die and go to a fictional place that was created to console those who were dying or go into oblivion.

  • Pre-Life???

I believe that our lives here on earth are just temporary pre-lives?? – meaning that I believe there is life after death in eternity, and that this life is somewhat of a “trial run”. I consider myself a christian and believe in God’s word. The Bible says that we are only here for a short period of time and that we will spend eternity in heaven (or hell). The few decades that we spend on this earth is only a blink of the eye compared to eternity. This notion may be hard for the average human to comprehend, given that many people dont even believe in God, the entity who created all things—he who is the begining and the END !

  • Life's Lessons, Literally

Reincarnation is used to learn, quite literally, all, of the lessons of life. In the beginning, we are all just stardust in the cosmos, just floating about; and then we found Earth and decided, “Hey, I want to learn everything about this planet.” So you decend down and you are born into a specific life. During this time, in the life you’ve chosen, say for an example, you decided to pick the life of a cat, you would be learning everything a cat knows, how a cat lives its life, and when it’s time for you to end your cat life your soul moves on to another form of life. And once you are finished with all of these lessons of Life, you return to the cosmos, becoming stardust again.

What happens after that? Your decision. If you want to go back to Earth and do it all over again, you do so. If you want to move on to another planet, you do so. The choice is all yours.

  • kinda sketchy

the whole thing comes right down to personal beliefs, i give you that much. though, i personally beleive that my soul hase lived in the body of another human being in the past. i beleive that my soul once inhabited the body of a nineteenth century Victorian Age woman. i beleive that in that life, i was a well-off, well taken care of woman who was on the Titanic, though i think i survived the sinking... or somthing, i'm not sure. all i know is that i feel a very deep and strange, and even scary connection with the titanic and the late 1800's-early 1900's. i think it's becasue my soul was on earth during that time period, and came back in a different body. i could go on for hourse, but i won't...

  • Life= lesson

I think that The spirit (or soul) lives in many bodies and then goes on to another world. In each life the soul learns a big lesson. Those who learn the lesson quickly and acomplish more than people should in a life time, or instead prove to be not worthy of living die young. I also think that the world we are in is one of the "lower" worlds, or the first ones our souls inhabit. So after death I think that our souls "hang out" for a little and then live again.
