  Why is acceptance so important? I dont get it...I know everyone wants to be accepted, its not a crime..but the things that people do to get in, its just wrong and stupid...People have sex, get pregnant, change their outlook on life, change theri attitiude, chage their way of thinking, what they wear, how they talk, what kind of music they listen to, and even doing stupid little pranks to be accepted..Its pure craziness...Its stupid and its not nessasary..BE YOU...BE YOU!~!~

    If you know everyone does this, why are you complaining? Why do you wear the clothes you wear? If all your clothes were stolen and I gave you tight sweaters with care bears all over them, would you say "Well, I dont care what other people thing! This feels great!". I don't know if people have sex and GET pregnent to "fit in". I suppose some people have sex for acceptance, but a lot of people just do it because they want to. Usually when people pontificate this "sexual conformity" they're under the impression it's a general known rule that sex is a bad thing. What if "stupid little pranks" are things they enjoy? Changing their outlooks on life? Hardly. People may change the outlooks ON LIFE more frequently in this period because they're more vulnerable to new ideas without hearing all the facts, but not because they want to "fit in" but because they agree with what they here. They edge towards different musics? Everyone does this as a teen, getting exposed to the music of their peers and maybe getting into it much more than they would have if left to themselves. But then they usually come back to moderation. But if they seriously DIDNT LIKE the music they wouldn't listen to it. But...you're right. Everyone stop being a confomrist, and be a noncomformist! It'll make you unique and cool!!!!

    I completely agree up untill the last part... Being a nonconformist is much more then clothing and music it is a mind set. To nonconform you must first conform. A nonconformist tries to be different by making their appearance look unusual but, by doing this they end up in a catagory such a "Punk" or something similar and in doing so eventually become a conformist themselves. To nonconform you must be able to come up with something completely orgininal which doesn't exactly start with your appearance.
